I love Judy Blume. Her books were what I grew up knowing as I was one of the first generations to experience them and to be a kid, they weren't "groundbreaking," they just were. They were just as much fun as Beezus and Ramona which I alternated them with. I know that's weird but … When I reread Blume as an adult,

When I remember the show in my head (broadcast on PBS in my neck of the woods), my old brain confuses Sandra Dickinson with Bernadette Peters.

Ernie Hudson's cameo was the best, I thought.

Gal Gadot roller-skating or GTFO.

VENGEFUL suicidal teenagers. Is she going to come back from the dead in Season 2? Or will they discover a tape with 13 more reasons?

Sienkiewicz was on the book from issues 18-31 and this was in the days when books came out on time. I wish it could have been a multi-year run but it wasn't.

Great imitation of a Right Winger! Now do Charo!

The early strips were a riot. As were "Blondie."

It's Russ Tamblyn! He and George Chakiris were 2/3 of the best thing about "West Side Story" (sorry, Richard Beymer, you were not the other third) and he's in one of the best horror movies of all time: "The Haunting." He can just sit there and it'd be awesome to have him onscreen.

We had them in Springfield, Massachusetts. Who could forget those ads with Mr. Carvel enticing us with a voice that sounded like he was in the latter stages of throat cancer?

Johnny from "Airplane!" could have come up with a few more.

In the comics, Archie has already met The Punisher, most of the gang were bloodily murdered by Predator (while drawn in house style), they've been zombies (NOT in house style and have left us hanging as to when it will ever come back), met the Ramones, KISS… Archie Comics are a blast.

Bill Sienkiewicz' comment on his FB page: "Boo."

You raise your kids in the Carolinas, they're going to fall off that "no pork" wagon eventually. Even if it took him until later.

Kristen! It was Kristen who shot JR!

Hasn't anybody in the last nearly 30 years wondered why only one knob on a certain dresser at the Great Northern looks like a woman screaming?

I'd be on board for that. The Demon Bear story was fantastic.

They still had time for a girly girl slumber party during Sienkiewicz' run.
