it worked great on my mac (Lion and iPhone) and there is a linux distro on there. you need to plug your camera/phone in and it will pop up and ask if you want to back it up.

The zune came out 5 years after the iPod. iTunes and the iPod market had already been saturated so the zune was a commercial failure. A decent product but it was a niche market for people who didn't like iPods.
