Maybe because mayo has a rep for being a bad-for-you condiment, while peanut butter is considered wholesome?
Marvel Unlimited has been a great investment for us, but it’s a shame to find out that great series have been cancelled just as you were getting into them (alas, Hellcat). But that’s been the case for TPB buyers for a while.
I read Superfudge (I think) when I was a kid and the main character decided to run away, so his mom made him peanut butter and tuna fish sandwiches. I, being young, interpreted this literally as a sandwich with both peanut butter and tuna fish, and asked my mom to make one for me. She was smart enough to talk me down…
Nobody’s being arrested, so why even report the incident? Crime statistics are down - not actual crimes.
Yup, it’s an egg reference. Went there the last time we visited San Diego and the food is delicious. The Senor Croque was bonkers.
Kinjamprove. Seriously. It fixes the discussion threads.
And then I had to look up what ‘incels’ are, and got sad all over again. For those in my position, it’s “involuntary celibate”, and translates to ‘lonely but it’s someone else’s fault’.
I think she took the clone option, but so did Rick. The two of them are on an extended adventure somewhere and their clones are back at the house. The exchange at the end, where she told Rick that she loved him and he said it back, seemed out of character for them both.
I feel like Harmon is working out his feelings about his divorce through this season of Rick and Morty, and it has deeply affected the themes and how he explores them. That sad title card at the end tells you all you need to know.
This place is so full of trolls now. It’s depressing.
Get Kinjamprove, seriously, it helps so much.
The fact that Katniss was struck with crippling PTSD didn’t seem earned?
There are many great places where this comment is relevant, but I have to say that I love the customized “Related Articles” headers that the AV Club is doing. “Further Incitements to Class War” is a classic.
We were saying the same thing… it would be a great direction for Tracy.
It's how they identify the C&E apostates in the audience. We're the ones going "And also with… *cough cough*" and looking around to see if anyone noticed.
How does one mess up the story of Cope and Marsh and the Bone Wars? Like Rien says, that story has EVERYTHING. Sabotage, subterfuge, straight-up fights - guaranteed bestseller.
What the hell did I just read, and why didn't I know that's what was on ClickHole?
Max Mercury, aka Ahwehota, Windrunner, Whip Whirlwind, Buckshot, etc. He's got your cowboy speedster covered.
So… we're engaged.
"Yes, we're in love."
But in this picture, we're together as kids.
"My dad adopted you, so you're my brother."
But… we're engaged.
"Yes."
But I'm your brother.
"Yes."
And that strikes no one as weird?
"No."
Hmm.
