I went as Dr. Horrible one year. I even got the kind of welding gloves and steel toed workboots that they used in the video. I kind of pulled it off, even though I'm a lady with long hair.

One of the winners on last night's Legends of Cosplay was in a 9' tall Totoro costume that had wiggling ears, so it's possible to be cool and be in a big guy costume.

I read it for the first time when I was really young, but kept reading it over and over again and understanding more of it each time. That's the beauty of it, really. It's a cool story that reveals more and more as you grow up with it.

All I ever needed to know, I learned from Freakazoid! Including the word toyetic. 

I loved it, but I would also love the sequel to pass the Bechdel test. Or even come near it. Did the second female character ever even speak?

On the one hand, it sounds like SDCC has finally gotten to that tipping point where you can no longer just go enjoy the old school fringe-y stuff. I don't mind having Hall H and Ballroom 20 given over to the movies and TV shows if I can still go see the voice actors and sketch-off and anything with Sergio Aragones…

Jay and Gloria's baby wasn't there either. Goodness knows who was looking after those two. Or maybe they left Lily to babysit?

My guess was that she would be Crowley's endgame - I fully thought that she'd come through the doors as a demon and force Sam and Dean to kill her in order to save the other girl. But sadly, no.
