It is desolate here for sure. Haha my husband grew up in Scotland, but he spent summers with his grandparents in NYC. I live about 20 miles from Dannemora. That whole summer was wild! We live in the middle of nowhere and ended up spending our nights in town after the first (very scary) night. They broke into our nearest neighbor’s camp and we just decided we weren’t going to take any chances.
