I really liked Whiplash, but I think JK Simmons’ performance was what made it so enjoyable for me. He was so toxic, then I find out We are Farmers dude is probably one of the nicest men in Hollywood.

Oh I’m always deploying Jacklines. Last week my husband and I were trying to decide where to go hiking. I suggested a local gorge, he said that’s a bad idea. And I said.....”there are no bad ideas, Lemon, just good ideas that go horribly wrong.” Yes I even called him Lemon!

I’ve got kids and I would have done the same thing. And then we’d all have a good laugh because that’s what parents do to their kids....we embarrass them like it’s our job. Is it possible that AB was just being funny? He knows his daughter is a model, so I’m pretty sure he’s seen this before. And you think he’s an

Hahahaha....I just watched that episode again and it’s still so funny!! Tracy doing Cash Cab might be the funniest thing ever.

You’re right. The wall is powerful, I’ve sat beside it and cried. But there is also a statue of three soldiers patrolling....that’s actually the one I was referring to.

I think about war memorials in general. I wonder what Vietnamese-Americans think when they’re visiting the national mall and they see representations of the dubious war that left so many of their own innocent countrymen dead. Do they want to tear that thing down? And would we celebrate their actions? When people play

I remember seeing Matt Damon on some talk show right after the 3rd Bourne movie and the host (maybe David Letterman?) asked him if they were going to do another....he was joking of course, because they had pretty much told Jason Bourne’s story.  Damon started giggling and said yeah it’s going to be called The Bourne

Hahaha...I was at a family thing this weekend (most of them are all in with this clown.) I sat there minding my own business until someone mentioned that I wasn’t participating in the lovefest. I said I was just waiting for them all to drink the real Kool-Aid, the Jim Jones stuff. They mad. Maybe they’ll leave me out

I grew up NNY, made my fortune (lol) and moved back to raise my kids. I’ve loved living here, and my kids loved growing up here. I always thought I’d stay here forever. My husband and I are now planning to GTFO, I simply cannot stand most of the people here. Ignorant, provincial assholes everywhere.....no thanks.

Shut the fuck up, Melanie, you stupid whore

I like this kid. (she’s 21, I get to call her a kid.) She’s so very young, she’s been employed in a very weird profession for a long time, and she seems quite level-headed. She obviously was “raised right”, as my sweet granny used to say.

I love this rant. Thanks! I have to cop to watching the first few episodes of those nitwits Paris and Nicole working on a farm or something and it was pretty funny. But it got old fast.

Counterpoint: Andy Dwyer is the shit and that will never change.

hayum

Angie Jordan was one of THE BEST ancillary characters on 30 Rock and SS was perfection in that role. I have such a hard time reconciling that with real life Sherri. I avoid her at all costs because I just don’t want Angie ruined for me.

Maeve and her gang and Teddy....don’t forget Teddy! (sad face) I really want to root for Bernard, but I’m not sure who or what he is anymore

I’m sorry that happened to you, and I hope that you are healing. Yes, I didn’t mean to suggest that any of this was on her. Of course her trauma was unimaginable and her life was insane after that. I may not have worded that so well.
