How can it be the best version without the double spoiler? Seems the ‘88 spoils the fun.

Yeah but...
Wrong spoiler
I really, really love the idea of this truck, but then the negatives kept coming: 4x2, 144k miles, salvage title, etc. That was enough for me to read.
I love the color and the wheels (and the overall concept) but this thing has CP written all over it. At $5000 you could get me to consider it.
At a certain point, you gotta wonder if maybe just a regular tent makes a little more sense at the ol' KOA.
As far as I can tell overlanding is just car camping for people who drive ridiculously outfitted SUVs at about 25% of their capability. Parking their lifted, light barred, Tacoma with a tent mounted on top next to the family of 4's Sienna at the local KOA.
Protective Film does do a good job, but it’s a double edge sword. A friend of mine purchased a used Acura with film on it (mirrors, front, behind the doors on the rear quarters). the film was worn and chipped (did it’s job). When he took it off the paint under it was pristine, the rest of the car was not. With some…
There is ABSOLUTELY room for a new Dakota! If they can make a Dakota that is 3/4 the size of a Ram 1500 and include a quality interior (like the DT platform Ram currently), it will do well!
I waited 6 months for my Limited WRX Hatch when I ordered in 2011. Over 8 years and 150,000 miles later, this car has been perfect. It’s the most fun, reliable, versatile, and capable daily driver sports car for the Midwest. A couple times a year I consider selling it for something new, but I can’t ever do it...
Yep! I was going to say flood-damaged, but even if it’s on the up-and-up, if the owner had bothered cleaning the damn thing, it would be worth $6k, at best.
Neither is the engine compartment...not a bad little car, I’d probably be in @ $5k after a PPI, but $15k? That’s just idiotic.
I see one every day.
this is the first car I’ve ever seen outside of a Weather Tech ad that has actually rocked those.
Nope! A big NOPE at this price.
With gold wheels!
Filthy engine bay, suspiciously replaced gearbox, and a big ol’ subwoofer in the back? Poorly maintained bro mobile. Crack pipe.
Salt or dissimilar metal contact corrosion can be a thing.
Uh usually aluminum bolts don’t corrode, at least quickly, unless they are in contact with another metal that accelerates the corrosion or breaks down the corrosion resistance that aluminum has.
We did just this with my wife’s Cruze - 72 month car loan at 1.9%, paid it off in 60 months, but had the ability to pay less if something had come up.
