By the looks of it, 2025.
By the looks of it, 2025.
In just under 5 yrs, the way things have been going.
Neutral: I do wonder if we’ve reached the point at which increasing amounts of money are producing much less gain in emissions improvement. Maybe incentivising manufacturers to produce zero-emission vehicles?
the difference between used and new car finance rates may leave the more expensive car cheaper, too. I dunno, I didn’t do the math. But it’s possible.
No yellow pool noodle on the splitter? CP.
We give the startups oxygen because the incumbents don’t seem to give a f*ck about anything meaningful in pursuit of progress.
“but there’s no rust...”
You missed a step or two.
Please don't, my neighbor has one and I don't want it ending up in my pool.
So? That was Tesla screwing up in a different fashion on the same vehicle. Doesn’t mean that a Consumer Protection lawyer couldn’t make a case regarding this.
Except.......Tesla manufactured the hardware and software, and included the license when they sold the car.
So it sounds like Tesla doesn’t understand how software licenses work.
Not really because Adobe doesn’t make laptops. Tesla made a car and sold it with the feature. It’s more akin to buying a used Surface and having to buy a new version of Microsoft Edge because MS decides that you they only sold the ability to go online to the original laptop user.
This is nothing new. I owned a few 80's GM cars where they removed features like the air conditioning, power windows, etc, 10 years after they were new. ;)
The attorneys could seek their fees on top of the award (rather than taking them out of it) since Tesla’s wrongful behavior forced the plaintiff to bring the lawsuit to vindicate their rights in the first place.
Tesla forgetting to charge someone for a feature does not entitle them to remove it later, especially when the vehicle has changed ownership. This needs to go to court immediately to set a precedent.
You are defending the indefensible for what reason exactly? Just because Elon Musk is supposed to save the world from climate change?
This is why you gotta roll those fees into the award at the end.

I’m mad about it and it didn’t even happen to me..... This is pretty horse shit... Essentially Tesla messed up and sent out a car with features it shouldn’t have had, then remotely disabled them.... nah that’s crap. They messed up, they need to eat the cost.
This is exactly why I don’t like the idea of my car being controlled remotely by Tesla.
OTA updates can go both ways...
