Good to see GM is carrying on the lessons learned from the Camaro and doing everything they can to make visibility as bad as possible.
Had a friend who had one and she never locked it either for the same reason. Hers got broken into and yes the idiot cut up the top to get into it even though all the doors were unlocked.
When you have to do mods just to make the thing “liveable” that pretty much says CP from the start. To many miles, to high a price. No, I will never get the “Jeep Thing” when it comes to Wranglers. Do miss my old Cherokee though.
No, I’m not into it as it’s just yet another thing that drives up the price of a new car for everyone because of a small percentage of idiots.
Exactly and these are not hard to find.
Just to make you happy, I daily drive a small car and leave my big truck sitting at home for when I need it.
Yeah, sometimes I think this is the automobile sight for people who hate automobiles.
I believe these had airbag setups on them, I know the Mark VIII did. That systems is a known failure and really complicated and expensive to fix. So most go to aftermarket shock setup, they make bolt on conversion kits for it. I’ve got a friend who’s really passionate about the old Marks and he’s done it to a couple…
I’ve been having good luck with Nissan/Infiniti for both the enthusiast side and non enthusiast.
300-400 miles with a full reill time of about 5 minutes. You know, kind of like what I have now with all three vehicles I own. And yes, I do routinely use this ability of my vehicles.
Considering the amount of new SUV’s I can buy for that price that will also cost far less in maintenance, plus have a warranty. CP.
Interesting second gear since reuters just did an article on rising used car prices and the effect on the poor.
Even with a special skill, you can usually only pick one and it’s normally not job security anymore, at least not in the terms of one company.
Part of the appeal to me is the fact it’s not a Wrangler. I like to be different, but I feel this one is to much for the work left to be done just to be different. So reluctant CP for me too.
GM would have to make a vehicle I’d actually consider before it could have an effect.
Some of your on board computer maintenance systems aren’t mileage based, that is why there is no printed schedule. It factors in driving conditions, time between service, sometimes even some weather conditions. It can be a fairly significant algorithm used to determine service intervals. So on my wife’s Acura, I…
And then that will be followed by a debt relief program to help all those poor souls stuck with car payments they can’t afford.
That just means you bought the wrong car and haven’t cut bait soon enough. I had a VW Touareg, I was working it monthly, but did my own maintenance because it would’ve far to expensive to take it in. I finally cut my losses on that one. But generally, every couple of years I might have to take a vehicle in for some…
Nice, and by the time they actually have the meetings now, everyone will have figured out which group they are in based on which one key members were invited to.
