How much more evidence do we need before we realize level 2 systems are just a really bad idea because people always find ways to abuse systems and missuse them. So far, weve just been lucky that the idiots have mainly been limiting the carnage to themselves when things do go bad. One of these times they are not going

No test drive, no buying.

Not my cup of tea, but a clean car, low mileage and for under $6k. Hard to argue with. NP

And somehow they managed to leave out some political bashing. I am not sure what to think now because they didnt mention on how politics drove the decisions.

I’m picturing a disappointing version of an updated Jeep Commander.

These are beautiful looking cars, but the performance, the price, the impending headaches of german over engineering failures, this is still a CP regardless of what KBB and such sources try to say.

Still dont know about a Rivian, but I really want an old Nissan Pulsar now.

For some reason, that one looks a lot better than the one forsale. I think its probably the rear windows werent partially covered up, but not sure if that is completely it.

I was ready to comment this as I feel most things added (like Ford’s trailer backup system) allows people who shouldn’t be towing things to tow, but based on the list, most of this is either nice or nothing new.

Maybe, Im not in the market and cant say Ive even seen one for a long time. But this thing looks really clean and sparks my interest because I have an irrational love of small trucks.

But I like small trucks and this is one of those markets, like with most old classics, its all in the eye of the buyer. And all old cars are slow and crude compared to modern cars. This is a quirky little classic and I dig quirky if price reasonably and this is reasonable to me.

Would need to pull that bed liner up and see whats underneath, though the underside of the bed looks good, top side matches and its a NP for me.

And yet another mandated safety feature to further drive up the cost of new vehicles.

Its the mostly complete bit that scares me off. Depending on what is missing (besides engine) can be difficult to track down and can make or break the finished product. Reluctant CP do to unknowns.

My standard rule is if its German, its a CP. Ive had enough that Ive sworn them off unless its something is so desirable, its worth the impending headaches and heartbreaks. This doesnt cut it regardless of price.

So is that the efficiency of a diesel with or without emission cheating software?

But the fear of the unknown is why I had to vote CP. I’ve just got to many questions as to what that wrap might be covering up.

Yeah, never used a snatch strap, I grew up on a farm using heavy chains to pull things out, and even with them where you take all the slack out before you try to pull something, you get everyone out of the way in case something lets go.

Paint at the door sills already rubbed off. So not sure how good the newer paint job is. 15k just to much, it needs to be nearly perfect to command this price and this isnt. Needs to be less than 10k to peak my interest and I love old trucks.

I will still continue to let my car warm up for 15 to 30 minutes, mainly because it seems to be unavoidable.
