Yeah, amazing how a car blog site doesn’t seem to understand basic car things like fuel octane ratings. It’s really not that complicated.

To a point, if someone jumps out in front of you, there is only so much you can do.
The problem is the higher emmission standards come at a cost. So if you are CARB compliant but down on power and mpg from the competition that isn’t, you are not going to sell as well. That is why she wants a level playing field.
I’ve never bought a new vehicle and prefer gently used. Let someone else take the initial depreciation hit, so of course not having the latest model doesn’t matter to me.
Though even buying used, I still avoid first model year vehicles as they tend to have more issues. So if I was buying new, I’d actually prefer a last…
Yeah, it’s really so close that I had to begrudgingly CP it because I always take the price as listed. If you can talk them down a bit, the vote quickly flips.
Filters should always be hand tightened. I go 3/4 to full turn from gasket touch, completely by hand. Though it seems I still struggle to get them off, but not from over tightened but because I seem to always buy vehicles were just getting to them is difficult. Thank god for K&N and a 1" standard nut on the cap.
For the price, the interrior doesn’t cut it. That’s a CP wiring job and it wouldn’t have taken much effort to clean up. But when you see that quality of work, you have to question what else was done half assed.
Wanted to NP this, it was so close even though lengthening the frame should’ve killed it for me but didn’t. Never like people messing with the main structure as you have to question how well it was done. I was even hanging in through the wood bed though that had me teetering, then we got to the engine mechanicals and…
Yes, but politicians get to wrapped up in where the raw materials come from and dictate that. So you are forced to buy raw materials from the US or allied countries even if none of them make it, really makes it difficult and expensive to buy stuff that doesn’t really exists.
1st gear.
Had to vote CP, price is a little to high for me as it’s to close to what it would’ve cost new. Yes, it’s nearly new with the really low miles, but it’s still a four year old vehicle and you have the depreciation hit as soon as it pulls off the lot.
Of course for this package and setup, you could’ve bought it in 2014…
Vehicles have sensors in the passenger seats for airbag systems. How in the heck did Tesla not think to put one in the driver seat for autopilot?
CP at any price. Land Rover is not known for their reliability and by most accounts, the Freelander was the worst ever.
Airbags not deployed means nothing. I took a cement retaining wall head on after caught off guard by sudden freezing rain. Bent the frame on full size SUV and airbags didn’t deploy, system never showed any signs of an issue prior.
Which one is easier to find today, a first gen Miata or first gen Sunbird? That in a nutshell is why I voted CP yesterday and NP today.
That was kind of my thoughts for a NP. Did these cars sucks, sure they did, a lot of old cars people collect suck in way or another, especially compared to modern cars, but a big part of buying and collecting old cars can be as a conversation piece and this oddity would definitely fit that bill.
So he’s impressed with the PC Boards and circuit density? Sorry, but that is pretty lame and the only reason some things have higher density is because of space constraints requiring it. Otherwise it isn’t anything magical, this is the ultimate picking of low hanging fruit for a compliment.
Love these cars and you will not find one better than this one.
Small cars are tough sell in US and will continue to be, because the county is to big. We spend more time in our vehicles and the problem with a small car when you spend a lot of time in them, they start to feel small, cramped and uncomfortable. I commute daily in a small car, it’s fine for 30 minutes but my commute…
I’m in Indiana and not far, so guess it is a well known fact for me. French Lick also used to be a resort town with lots of high profiles vacationing there. They’ve fixed up the old historic hotel and trying to make a come back. Google French Lick Resort & West Baden Springs, it’s quite the place.
If I had an…
