The seatbelt thing was bad, but the battery is nothing compared to new ones with the battery under a seat. Now that is a pain in the ass, I’d will love to just remove a brace and have easy access compared to digging one out from under the freaking seat.

Solid axle fascination is the dumbest thing there is. All it does is make thing cheaper, but is in no way better than independent suspensions. Land Rovers are known for offroad capability, independent suspension. And Hummers (real military ones) are not bad at handling offroad conditions despite having a full

It’s pretty simple what it needs to do based on all the Jeep Wranglers around me. It has to look cool and be something teenage girls bug their daddy’s to buy them. Also has to have lots of accessories you can stick on them to make them look like they are used for off roading. Actual off roading ability isn’t needed

Yeah, I’m usually against buying other’s projects, especially with the heat not at least hooked up as that should’ve been relatively simple, but this is cheap enough to be worth the possible headaches.

That 2.8 might not have been a performance monster, but man was it reliable. Seems everyone I knew hit 200k with those before the bodies gave up while the engine was still trying to keep going.

So let me get this straight, Lincoln is aiming to sell an expensive luxury car to hipster artist who generally have no money. Sounds like a brilliant business strategy.

My thought exactly, so much work and money spent to make something that already exists. Just buy a Comanche and restore it.

Combination of miles and age, this thing is ready to eat up your bank account in repair bills, so can’t justify the price. Like the car, just to expensive with the maintenance that is looming.

And as a former Touareg owner, will empty your wallet quickly with repair bills, or, if you do the work yourself, will test your sanity while emptying your wallet. I finally gave up after years of getting it right for a couple months only to start the process over again and traded it for a MDX. Now that is fun to

The dune buggy sucks, just to slow, now the Razor Ground Force Drifter is a heck of a lot of fun. I’m 180-190, and have a blast on my sons. Though the hard rear tires (which is what makes it fun) do bounce the heck out of you. One of these days, I’m going to mess around and swap the electric motor for a two cycle

So tempting, but in the end just enough questions and concerns to end up on the CP side of the scale, but oh so close.

And who wouldn’t want a big speaker in your foot well just waiting to stick a shoe through it. For a show car, apparently they were not showing off their ability to design and do thing right and instead was just showing off how to shove as much crap as possible into a car.

Complete CP.

If I have to carry all of that and at that price, might as well just carry an entire hammock frame.

Okay, so we have car tuned by Hendrick Performance, yet not a single picture showing any of it?  No under the hood shots.  Come on give me the goods.  CP

It’s just plain hard to find decent running cars for under 3k, this one looks clean and under 100k miles for under 3k, you can certainly do worse for more, so easy NP.

Not that I would buy it.

To bad it’s not just BMW owners, for some reason it seems like an epidimic of people who think they should just be able to force their way in and everyone else should slow down for them instead of them maybe slowing down and looking for room to safely merge into the lane they need to be in.

Anything that can’t tow more than 5000 lbs isn’t a truck. Drives me nuts that VW can make the Touareg tow almost 8000lbs but no one can make a small truck that comes close. I don’t need or want a full size truck, but I do need full size truck towing capacity. A compact truck that could still tow well would be absolute

I agree, because how did anyone know to look or find him outside as I assume the car would just stop somewhere on the hospital grounds. I’ve been to hospital emergency room door enough, which sometimes is harder to find than it should be, and people just never rush right out to help you.

There are some degrees that are completely worthless and I’ve spent more than enough time at Universities to know that.

Considering I keep looking at trucks for the purpose of towing close to 10,000 pounds. With those small engine choices, a Ford will no longer be in my garage. I've never been happy towing with a small displacement engine and would seriously be worried about the long term health of the engine working like that
