I'm not thrilled no one called 911, and my heart is breaking for that little girl. But as a Philadelphia resident, I'm going to go on record as saying that I am pretty damn sure if you called the cops to report a strung out person on a bus in the NE, the only response you would get is hysterical laughing followed by a

You're not childless. You're childfree :)

Wait till you turn 50. (Yes, I'm an old.) It's scary on one hand because you really do feel invisible. And on the other, it is the most liberating experience just not to give a fuck anymore.

And lo! Already trolls appear in the greys to try and tear down the beautiful confidence you have built for yourself! Because if there's anything society hates, it's women who feel good about themselves. Double hate points if you're overweight or a woman of color!

Wait until your 40s, they're kind of awesome. I want to write a parody Dr. Seuss about it called, "Oh! All The Fucks You Won't Give!"

I don't get the appeal of Old Navy. Now that I am I standard sizes, I was excited to try them. Everything was thin to the point of being almost see through. The fabric also draped I a way that showed every imperfection. Nothing fit right at all, and a lot of it was garish looking. It also seemed like it would fall

And they dont have the really long jeans in the smaller sizes anymore either! I know this isnt the place, but damnit, for a while I was able to walk into a store and buy pants. Those were good times.

My mom is 5'3" and a size 16. It's her healthy weight, she looks great for her age and we all agree were she to lose even 5 or 10 pounds she wouldn't look as youthful. What's really frustrating for her, and I assume many other men and women, is that it's often disappointing browsing through various vendors because she

The plus size stuff is always so highly priced for Old Navy. I used to buy a lot of clothing there because I could afford it.

I wonder if this is because most US patternmakers aren't trained on plus sizes. The dress forms we are trained with in school were most often a US size 2 or smaller. Since a garment's pattern dictates the fit, especially as it is graded up in size, the garments may not fit the way a woman's body should be properly

The funny thing about it is that Old Navy's vanity sizing has apparently taken up the slack (or at least thinks it has) for most of the plus-sized department's failings. I'm a 52" bust and hips, with a belly to match — basically, I'm barrel-shaped. And I can easily wear most of the things currently in an Old Navy

I hate Old Navy's plus options. I'm in that weird "too big for straight sized clothing but too small for plus" area and Old Navy is worst than most for that size. It's either way too big (even in the smallest "plus" size) or tight in weird areas. Awful.

This. I stopped buying shortly after they moved to online only. I don't have time to deal with returns, and for the same price, higher quality on basics, I can work with Lane Bryant in store sales, Macy's sales, and Land's End sales. (I'm 46, so this isn't completely absurd—but need to point out that I stick with

I worked at Old Navy when the plus sizes were phased out. There was never an official statement about it to employees, but 80-90% of the plus sized merchandise was generally going to mark-down, and then to a thing called price-kills, where each item gets marked down to 15% of its original cost. Our store was something

I like Dorothy Perkins online - big selection on cool plus-sized clothes that are for women who are older than the Forever 21 crowd. Also, they are not the paperbag styles, but include sexy stuff, low-cut tops, etc. The clothes are from England so delivery takes a while, but they are great clothes. Also good

I noticed the same thing when I was at Target yesterday. I can relate to other posters. I'm a size 20 and have the money to spend on clothes. I end up driving 3 1/2 hours a few times a year to the Macy's in downtown Chicago because their plus ("Woman") section is amazing. I also hit up Dress Barn Woman, which has some

Target sizes are weird anyway. I used to be a medium a few years ago, and now I'm an X-small. No, I haven't lost weight. There's no way I'm an X-small in anything. Where do the girls smaller than me shop?

Old Navy's Plus sales were terrible. I quit before they moved it completely online, but I can say that every return we had for plus items was due to bad fit and poor cut. For example, when I wore an Old Navy M in tanks, I tried on a 1X because I wanted to see if they were as short as they looked. And they were. It was

Eh, ever since I discovered Gap carries size up to size 20 online and allows in-store returns for all sizes (unlike Old Navy, where you have to go through the trouble of shipping them back and waiting for your refund) I've stopped bothering checking out Target's plus clothes section. Nothing there EVER fits me right.

I a marketing consultant and I have a client who is launching a new retail store this summer. I keep asking, "when can we start disclosing to your existing customer base the details of what we're doing and when?" You know, basic teasers and getting people interested in the grand opening. They are absolutely rabid
