This is definitely my most anticipated movie of the year at this point. I cannot wait.
I'm really annoyed that Happy Endings is on Hulu now because I suspect that has something to do with why it disappeared from Canadian Netflix a few weeks back. I miss it so.
This is pretty nice, but I much prefer Marika Hackman's version: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I loved the part in the (ridiculous) courtroom scene where Chanel cracks up during the sentencing. "I keep forgetting your real name is Libby Putney"
Narratively, this finale was an unforgivable mess. Almost nothing about it made sense and there was enough ridiculous lampshading going on to open a Bed Bath & Beyond.
It's a short fucking movie, man. I swear this is the first time I've seen Laura Marling pop up on an end-of-year list at all, which is a goddamn crime.
Yeah, the praise for Pageant Material is a little puzzling. Doesn't hold a candle to Same Trailer, and Biscuits is a poor poor poor man's Follow Your Arrow.
I remember Valley of Darkness being the first episode of this show that I really loved. I'd been enjoying it a lot up until that point, but that was the first episode I could point to as an easy favourite.
Esme Patterson seems like such a lovely person.
"Somebody needs to call the good people at Hasbro because the odds of you picking Neckbrace Whore are astronomical!"
Wait, really? I knew from before he even wrote the K that the note was going to say "Kill me". What surprised me was that Jessica thought he was writing Kilgrave at all, but apparently she wasn't the only one.
Ooh yeah I'm really into this. I loved Take Shelter so I'm good to follow Nichols/Shannon wherever they go.
**I CARE DEEPLY ABOUT THE IDENTITY OF THE RED DEVIL**
That line isn't Perfect's only nod to Taylor Swift - its chorus sounds nearly identical to Style.
And apparently the guy he was making out with was Nick Lane from Fringe! I do hope those scenes surface someday…
There are similar horror houses in a bunch of cities that have similar tactics and are also basically just a couple hours of abuse (although they probably have safewords). I doubt this was based on any one in particular.
See, I'm pretty super gay, but I really can't bring myself to care about this. It's not homophobic for a character established as straight to, you know, be straight, even if other things about him may change in various incarnations. "Straight" and "male" are indeed valid character traits, and with a character like…
Yeah, I remember seeing Jeremy Jordan in The Last Five Years which was a friggin musical and he seemed less gay there than he does in the ads for this show, and he's supposed to be a love interest?
Question: Is this going to crossover much with Daredevil? Because I haven't watched that yet, don't have a ton of interest in it, but this looks awesome.
