It’s a bit nuanced but I think the angle is that he says Dak is good but he is helped by the strong O-line and some fans are offended that Dak’s talent is being amplified by the good players around him.They must feel it is insulting to not think of Dak as an amazing quarterback by his own right.

I think that really depends on how you define “superior” — that’s a highly subjective term. If you look solely at price and performance, yeah, there are undoubtedly superior products out there. For many of us however, the quality of a product goes far beyond just specifications and price.
