Yeah $275 is a lot, but if you told me The Kinks are getting back together to play a show with all living members of Led Zeppelin, I wouldn’t hesitate to drop some bank in a heartbeat.

I guess they must be implying the redskins recovered and were tagged down instantly, and then let go of the ball.

Two things.

This is like a reverse prank phonecall come true, such a great opportunity to mess with people, and Lester drops the ball and doesn’t even try for any jokes.

good stuff, love that episode!

Yeah it seems like people are called racists now if they are not pursuing affirmative action to diversify any aspect of their life they have any control over.

I responded to another commenter who had read the book and said the author wrote a book about orphans from all over the world and still portrayed them all as white people.

God forbid we waste comment space to discuss the author’s choice to create the characters in a way that outrages us if they are portrayed on film in a way similar to the book, but doesn’t outrage us when they are portrayed in the text itself.

I read the book and as far as I remember all the characters were described as white and European

Me?

so good

So are you saying that if Beyonce was an accountant making 50k a year, this wouldn’t change how much she works out?

I also do not know how the bro/brah debate relates to the Ravens game, but that is why I thought accuracy was important.

I love your writing Drew, but your info based on the google trend charts is wrong! The 0-100 numbers only show search numbers relative to the peak search for that term. So a 100 for Bruh represents the month it was used the most, 0 is the time it was used the least. When you compare the two, you see it more clearly:

Jason Hanson scored 11 points (2 field goals, 5 extra points) in this game in 1994. Yes the same Jason Hanson that was still kicking field goals into the 2012 season.

Yeah, I just have a hard time believing they can’t attribute a single dollar of sales to the PR bump from being on the show. But maybe it is possible that is true.

I have not been there before! The article describes a bookstore and describes the people there as employees, so nothing in the article would have led me to believe

yeah exactly, I am skeptical their single day profits are larger than a signle day shoot fee in the first place (Their fault if they agreed to a deal of this nature anyways), but even if that is true, they still ignore the TONS of free marketing they are receiving for being on the show.

That’s how marketing works. I’m sure there are lots of people just show up to look at the store, but certainly enough buy books for a big boost. The same reason they have candy bars at the checkout. Most of the people don’t buy them, but enough do that they are basically in 100% of grocery store checkout lines.
