That can work too. I believe the concept from Sonic R deserves a revisit. The game was more than a racer since the stages had more exploration than most racers other than Mario Kart. Dr. Robotnik had his hovercraft in Sonic R, so I'm not against vehicles co-existing with on-foot running.

Sonic R didn't seem to be made very well, so I think the idea deserves a revisit. Even if you disagree on Sonic R's quality, I still think it's about time the idea had a revisit.

I consider it a racing event, rather than a "kart" racing event. I'd imagine the other characters would need vehicles to keep up with Sonic, not Sonic hopping in a vehicle to even the odds.

I don't necessarily think Sonic would follow rules that didn't have dire consequences (ex. someone will get "hurt").

I think increasing the homing properties for items and such could have fixed that. I understand Sonic runs fast, hence he doesn't need a vehicle unless water is involved. The other vehicles could be created for the characters to match his natural speed. If a hedgehog can be that fast, vehicles can too, according to

Funny, but it doesn't really sell me on the idea. I get it, but it doesn't sell me.

I did not for two reasons. One, Sonic didn't run standard. Two, the game didn't look like it was doing enough differently (was unique enough). I don't think it's a bad game, but not interesting enough for me. I have nothing against Sega or Sonic, except when Sega puts out sub-par Sonic games.

I was almost convinced they got it, but then I saw that the laser was inside a tube and realized they have not succeeded beyond copying an existing, official Star Wars product. They already sell replica character light sabers that have the same features without the warning for glasses. Until a company can create

Yes, they look very good. There is still the issue of overly reflective skin. Picture 1, 2 and 6 from above actually look pretty good, but the others...not so much. I don't know if this is a by-product of the game engines, or if developers control that aspect intentionally. Get rid of the skin gloss guys. You're

I'm still against Sonic himself using vehicles. Give him special shoes to augment his running ability on different terrain. Everyone else can have vehicles to keep up (even Shadow). I understand the design decisions at play, but I want Sonic running. At least make it an unlockable feature, a secret we can earn for

Some of those characters may be better known on Playstation, hence where I remember them from. There's still a good possibility for some of them. I could see Sony reaching for more third party since Nintendo keeps their roster much tighter.

I don't even care how much it's borrowing from Smash Bros. because I firmly believe there should be more games that mimic Smash Bros. I was sold when I saw Parappa the Rapper on screen hitting Kratos. I GOTTA BELIEVE!

Very interesting. Nintendo either hasn't figured out what to sell the Wii U at, or it doesn't want to sour the big E3 showing with a disappointing price.

Well holy crap. Is this policy going into affect Day-one of Wii U launch?

Really?! This is happening sooner than I thought it would. I wonder if Nintendo will take some of the previously released games and put them up for download.

While that was a great video that I'm sure Nintendo of Japan won't appreciate (those old spice ads being used in Japan?), he is leaving out a few releases. Xenoblade just happened and the Last Story is coming before Wii U. I'm sure Nintendo has like...3 more Wii games up it's sleeve before Wii U officially launches.

Hmm. I pretty sure I remember him being just blue. I wonder if there is a different condition where he doesn't turn Gold, but still has the shiny stars.

I actually played and beat this game once in one playthrough at an arcade. I fought Dr. Robotnik at the end who flies around in his hover ship. You're technically Super Sonic at the end, but it's just the invincibility stars circling Sonic, rather than the gold floating form we know.

From what I'm getting from the trailer and the game listing, I don't think it's truly a prequel. I'm thinking Kratos is going to travel back in time to undo the events that set him on the path of vengeance.

It looks terrible. Too big for practicality. Sony probably was concepting attachments to the PS Move that would make up for the control options of the Dual Shock 3.
