Square Enix has had plenty of experience building Action-RPG battle systems with Kingdom Hearts. I'd even go so far as to say their game "Nier" was an excuse to experiment with real-time battles.

Perhaps Nintendo will make "Galaxy" into a whole new line of spin-off games.
All I keep thinking is how unfortunate it would be if she ends up with someone who doesn't appreciate the reference. Not in the jerky way she describes.
Yep. That's about all that needs to be said.
That isn't THE reason, but certainly makes the case for it being built well. I think a lot of 360 games suffer from delays in control input. I don't know if it's an Xbox 360 issue or a developer issue. I guess this makes the case its a developer issue.
The Disney mouse connection is really clear. They even followed the same illustration rule that he silohuette has to be distinguishable at all times. For Mickey, its the ears. For Sonic, his spikes. That is less prominent now with the 3D designs, but he's well established at this point.
I've been meaning to practice better password management, but I've been lazy. This forced me to do some back tracking.
I'm jealous of Jimmy now. The first in the run of statues, a special video from the producers. It doesn't get much better than that.
November 20 can't come soon enough. I will be at whatever mid-night release I can or up bright and early to get it the second doors open.
*Whisper* If you let them know you'd be willing to pay more, they won't go lower at all! :)
I am rather happy with this announcement. But, like anything Sony does, it's not perfect.
Actually, it would be smarter to start begging Marvel to sell the license to a different company. Activision probably makes the highest bid, but if the Marvel fan base makes a big enough statement, perhaps they will rethink leaving the franchise in the hands of just one publisher.
That was a funny video. Unfortunately, Zelda Skyward Sword is what I'll be playing this month. I'll pick Skyrim at some later date after I clear out my other huge stack of backed up games to play.
Now I know what an aneurysm feels like.
The blue outfit looks very Tales inspired. I think someone has been moon-lighting :)
That title was little misleading. I was thinking it sold half a billion COPIES until I read the article. Good job Kotaku, getting me into the story. Had this game sold half billion copies...I don't know what I would have done.
FINALLY! I've been mentioning this idea in related topics for a while.
Your short answer is really all there is to it. People will pay what they are willing to spend on an experience. It's just a shame there isn't more price choice at the beginning of a game's release.
And there we have it. Thank you :)
As skeptical as I am of this game, I still want to play it. Probably because I can't resist the thought of a JRPG. I'm going to cave and get the special edition. I'm a sucker for artbooks. Also, the soundtrack coming with it will save me the hassle of finding it online later.
