Solid choices. I love the Cosrx snail cream because it is really hydrating without being heavy. It works so well for my dry skin but the texture makes me feel like it would work equally well for oily skin. I don’t personally use the Missha essence but my mom does and swears that it has made a bigger difference in

I find they apply better with fingers and then I use brushes to blend around the edges.

Sometimes makeup artist here (for photography purposes I guess I should add), and I really like physicians formula. Yes, from target. Why yes, I do have a bunch of expensive crap from ultra and sephora and default the the cheap stuff sometimes. Why do I do these things? I swear it’s the packaging.

Yeah, kinda — they’re creamy, but you can’t really pick up a dollop on a brush and paint it on like you can with a true cream shadow. Still tho, most of the ones I have are EXCELLENT performers, and they don’t irritate my eyes. And they’re five bucks! Also I just tried four of their pressed powder shadows which, to my

I KNOW, the purple DOES look good, but that blue is screaming my name.

Loving the Bite Prismatic lip glosses - started with Pink Pearl, then Rose Pearl and Oyster Pearl. The Oyster is interesting because it has a silver metallic shine that I like and kind of bold for me.

I hadn’t heard of the Black Moon ones so I just looked them up and OMG. Definitely trying those next! That blackened purple looks incredible. Agreed Tom Ford needs to expand his range beyond the warm colors. That’s partially why I only have one of the duos- they’re all practically identical. You might like Platinum

I REALLY like a lot of the ColourPop Super Shocks, but to me they perform more like a slightly creamy powder, rather than like an actual cream shadow. (Also, I just got “Sailor” and omfg it’s my new fave thing in the world.)

YES! Well actually a friend got it as a point perk and sent it to me, and I’m CRAZY about it. So smooth! So easy to apply and blend! No irritation! Crazy long wear! From the reviews on Sephora, it sounds like the ivory one is maybe problematic, but the others look great — I plan to order the black and cobalt mattes to

It is an indie called sat.nin polish. I believe she has an etsy store, but I follow her instagram and won the holo powder in a giveaway.

Gorgeous nails!

Currently I’m alternating between two face washes, I have Olay by the sink and Cetaphil in the shower. I use the Olay with my Clarisonic, I personally love the Clarisonic but it is not for everyone.

I second someone else’s rec for just using powder or foundation in a darker shade than you usually wear. You’ll have so many more options that way, which means you don’t have to rely on “one color fits all” that are usually made for people with warm undertones (which it sounds like you don’t have!). Eye shadow in a

Which brand did you use? Also I love Olivera! It sat in my untrieds for two months and when I finally used it I could’ve kicked myself for waiting so long.

I have oily skin and am currently in love with my sunscreen (Biore Perfect Milk SPF 50+). It’s got tons of alcohol in it (which may be a deal breaker for some people!), so it makes me and keeps me matte all day long. It does such a great job that I’ve stopped using powder! It also has a super silky finish to it.

I didn’t buy anything new, but I dug out my favorite bright orange lipstick because it is July and my skin is finally dark enough to wear it without my looking weird. Also, back to my natural hair texture because I’m going swimming more often. Hooray!

I need recommendations on a face wash or other treatment for whiteheads (mostly on my cheeks) and oily pores (on my nose). Drugstore brands preferable, but I’m open to something more expensive/niche if it’s really worth it.

I use the niacinamide + zinc serum from The Ordinary, which cuts down oiliness *a little*. I can’t do most mattifying primers etc, as they have heavy silicones that give me cystic acne. I try to keep it at bay somewhat via TCFS blotting papers and an occasional touch-up dusting of Meteorites (kinda mattifying, but not

Resistance Thread!

You know what I DO miss? the Soup with Joel McHale. He was relentless with the Kartrashians.
