I’m sorry for these people sort of losing their jobs and sort of having to take a “pay-cut”. But only a little bit though. Most of these streamers sit at home behind a PC/console and a camera pointed at them and just do whatever they like until something gives them an audience. Now one platform is closing down, they

I miss the “swipe-ability” from Windows 8(.1) touch interface. Switching over to the Metro Start Menu exclusively was a mistake but everything else about the touch interface was basically pure gold. Everything was thumbable so to speak.

If people are so worried that they would be taking all these steps to protect themselves... why not buy a cheap “burner” dumb phone...

Don’t put a password on your supposedly private meeting, then complain people who were not supposed to be there were there.

For the love of God, don’t use any video chat rooms... They are all guaranteed to be collecting data of you, no matter how protected or encrypted they say they are. If this is a huge issue for you, stay off the internet in general, wrap your phone in aluminium foil, and preferably fashion a hat out of it as well.

Sucks. Bad tenants. On my end, I call my landlady for anything that is basically an “apartment” problem. Cracks in the ceiling or wall plaster (was a brand new building when I moved in, it has settled a bit), issues with water or electricity. Anything else I deal with myself as it is often the easier solution. Changed

Depends on if you are signing for a furnished apartment or not... At least that’s how it works over here (European country). Which is another reasons why I was wondering who would be on the hook for any costs to get the hospital up and running again.

But when I rent an apartment it is the owners responsibility to make sure the place is suitable for the intended purpose, and the owner making the payments for utilities, repairs etc (which is then still passed on to me).

As much as the world, and the US in particular, is in the grips of extreme capitalism and gets more examples like this... I wonder who would be on the hook for the costs of new furniture, equipment, new operating license, all the different utility costs and everything else that comes with such an undertaking.

How hard is it to hit the Windows key and type Control Panel? You will get it served up before you even finish the first word. But yeah, let’s overstate stuff for dramatic effect.

You are intentionally showing “All Control Panel Items”. The actual Control Panel one level up has like 8 items.

Lian Li PC O-11D Dynamic fist bump.

The Snapdragon 855 is plenty for pretty much anyone. The trend of higher numbers and new so must have it needs to stop. This device needs to succeed by simply working. Best way to do that is with stable software, even if it is an “old” version.

It is still a mystery to me why developers keep putting important UI elements at the top of the screen while phones just get taller and taller. No chance to thumb around the UI anymore.

As I understand it, there is no 90Hz screen, just some software trickery to make 60Hz seem smoother. Probably borrowed from the Bravia side of Sony. Quote from GSM Arena, usually a better source for smartphone news than Gizmodo:

I’ve got an Xperia 5 as a fun thing next to my iPhone 11 Pro Max... the 21:9 screen is much more one-hand friendly and the clean Android version is surprisingly good. Only the cameras and one app critical for my job are holding me back from switching. If they improved the cameras and now allow RAW saving from their

I’m sure Pablo’s brother is going to be very upset about the negative tone in this free advertisement, ehm, I mean ‘article’, for his product.

It is not a truck, SUV or crossover. Therefore, sales will be low.

I agree with this. First two have soooo much going on front to back. Strange hip hunches, all the weird folds and angles up front. The third one has simply streamlined the design. It has the kind of unique features still without overdoing it.

If this is all they have to show at CES, one could say... They came too soon.
