I use the (as seen on TV) Ninja Master Prep. It works great for smoothies - with and without ice. There may be cheapest and more effective products put there, but this works for me. Available on Amazon for about $60 - less if you don't want the extras.

I think it should have been broken down by pro vs. consumer, free vs. pay. Some people use/like/vote for less capable apps because they don't need a robust program to do simple audio editing. Others like/use/vote for free/cheap programs because they don't want to spend money. These two groups likely have a lot of

Airline travel is so tortuous these days that any relief (like listening to music or an audiobook on my iPod touch) is a Godsend. Having to turn off our devices is just one more bamboo shoot under the fingernail of the traveling public.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but the girl in the video seems to have a lazy eye or something - made it very difficult to concentrate on what she was saying.

I wonder if you could add one of those Wi-Fi cards to the SD slot and stream music to it.

Is Plex basically the same type of critter as XBMC?

I'd never use this. If I had to go on a long drive, I'd only do it alone, and deal with the boredom, or go with someone I know. Not just for the safety reasons, but to avoid the possible annoyance - remember "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"?

I logged in with my Windows Live account and played around a little. The interface is nice, but things don't seem to work in Chrome. Clicking on a message did nothing - I had to right click and select Reply in order to see the message. An error appeared at the top of the page - "Outlook was not able to complete

Agree.

I'll probably upgrade my Mom's iMac when I visit over the holidays.

Being able to flip the shelves over is a must. When supporting heavy items for a while, cheap shelves tend to bow downward. When this happens, I just take the items off the shelf, flip the shelf over, then put the items back. The bow is now upward and will decrease with time. Repeat when the downward bow becomes

The store imposes a fee. Kinda like a processing charge. I bought a $50 Amex gift card at the store once and they charged me something crazy like $5. I never bought another gift card from them again.

My local supermarket charges a fee for gift cards, so any reward point savings are diminished or eliminated. :-(
