I keep looking at that Blackwood pic, and my brain just can’t reconcile the look of the front grille with the rest of the body. It’s like all of these pieces can’t possibly be part of the same whole.

Did any of the tested vehicles have some sort of radar system? I don’t know how well those would have picked up foam objects.

I nominate the Phaeton. I guess they eventually ended up selling decently in China, but the rest of the world reacted with incredulity when they saw the price tag on this VW.

Ah. When navigating, I mostly look at the secondary map on the dashboard, which displays a close-range view and turn-by-turn. It’s kind of an alternative to having a HUD. I like it. I keep the map on the center console set to display the entire route a all times.

Yes. I am not sitting in front of it to watch movies.

Volvo’s implementation of AAOS is pretty good. I’ve used AA in other vehicles, but I probably won’t bother with it once it eventually gets released for my car. AAOS does about 90% of what you’d get from AA, plus Google Assistant can control stuff in the car like climate controls.

Based on that front end shot, at first I thought it was going to be some weird AMG pickup truck. Which probably would have been way more interesting than whatever it really is.

How TF is Biff Tannen not on (and at the top of) this list?

Tennessee, except for the western-most 1/3 of the state. I lived in Nashville for a few years, and I miss driving the hilly roads in that region. The mountain drives get better the further east you go.

But will you be able to make your own flag?

Don’t Think Twice was excellent, but aside from that...

Though at 52, I’m happy to be considered only “slightly” older.

Over time a BEV will have a lower carbon footprint than a hybrid. That depends a lot on how “clean” the local grid is, though. Ideally, we should try to get people to BEVs and push to use more renewable power sources. Hybrids, unfortunately, don’t have much potential for reducing their emissions.

You mean like almost every car made in the past 40 years or so?

Was 100% with her until:
