Yup, this also happened to me thanks to Relm. Suddenly my characters’ colors were all funky - Cyan’s hair turned green, I recall - and I had 100's of items, and something that made all spells cost 1 mp (econimizer?), enough for everyone in the party. Thankfully, it was my 2nd playthrough, so suddenly becoming

Ha! Yup, I only laugh because I also started in Minoc, was out mining in some little cave to get some money/skills, minding my own business, and some shmuck came right on in, killed my low-level self, and then complained that I didn’t have anything worthwhile.

I too came to see if I was the only “old” bloke that had a UO story.

Indeed! I came here simply to post:

It’s about punching dudes...and even dudets. Billy and Jimmy don’t descriminate over who they punch! Oh, they kick too. There’s also kicking.

Ugh, that NOISE! I never wanted to use it, yet the game was practically built around using it.

I kinda agree...I also rented this, thinking “Oh, MAN! I love everything Megaman, and now this is adding a new thingy, and it’s gonna be awesome!”...

YES! Granted, MM2 was my first Megaman. I was blown away by the graphics at the time (I was young, but those things on the screens REALLY looked like robots).

What? No struggle? Nah, he totally struggled with...uuuuuuuuh, wind surfing an old boat...over...the desert...yeah, I got nothing.

I hear what you’re saying, and agree that there was a tongue-in-cheek sort of feel to the movies and their scripts. However, while I think I could watch Sahara again with a general sense of “it’s okay/kinda fun”, Nicholas Cage’s character in National Treasure ruined the fun for me, as he was just so...awkward. I

Good example. National Treasure had the plot line and overall setup to be that “fun” and silly romp. Admittedly, the thing that killed that one for me was Nicholas Cage. I genuinely like him in some things...Con Air was silly fun, and Raising Arizona was perfect Cage. But, in National Treasure his character came off

Right!?! All I recall is that they found an old boat in the desert...then someone shot the hell out of it!

This one felt like it had the right idea, but something was off. It’s been awhile since I first saw it, but for some reason it just didn’t quite catch the right “feel”. I even remember thinking: This should be a fun movie, but why don’t I care about what they’re doing or why they’re doing it?

I love these games, and their stories/characters are the main reason for this love. For the movie to be anything but CRAP, it just needs to focus on the things that make these games so much fun. Here’s my list of what this movie would need in order for me spend money to see it:

I love me some FTL and Darkest Dungeon, and actually got them running on a mid-range Chromebook that I got a small partition of linux on (thank you, Lifehacker!).

This is almost exactly what I came here to type. You clearly beat me to it, and as a dude, I still totally agree. Here, here, for well-deserved retribution!

I love me some Civ, but have never been blown away by the music...until now. (Well, Baba Yetu excluded, of course). This new one is an IMPRESSIVE theme, and one I’ve now hit repeat on more times than I’d like to admit.

Certainly. I’m no artist myself, but I do remember old penny arcade comics looks a lot less...deformed. This particular week just seems EXTRA wacked, but who knows, maybe the medium of making the art if affecting the art in a specifically bulgy way. ^^

What happened to poor Tycho in PA?! Something’s definitely wrong! Does he have a head tumor?

Ah, of course...where are my manners?! I should have said, “Well played, Artist.”
