Glad to see production values of this show improving — more pix and vids, less talking heads. Still needs more dynamism. Letterbox some driving videos in the talking heads parts.

The pair I own now are great: 1995 supercharged Miata and 2004 VW Phaeton V8. They couldn’t be more different; a fast minnow and a comfy whale.

1-bit, actually. 0 = off, 1 =on.

Here you go:

With pre-1985 American cars and pre-1995 Euro and Japanese cars I don’t fear high mileage. For example, my 1989 Volvo Turbo Wagon had 220,000 miles on it when I got it. No issues, years later. The problem with newer model cars is “Value Engineering,” which has been widely adopted in the auto industry. Simply put, that

I try to avoid Chinese made goods to the extent I can, especially appliances and tools.

Good idea, C+ on the execution. Larger wheels, more distinct fender arches, no side tubes, running board-like rocker flare and you’ll be there.

The 2004 Phaeton V8 is my DD. If you have the means to pay for Bentley level service or a good after market warranty, by all means get one. Compared to my previous DD, a Mercedes E class, this thing is in another universe.

Enough already, Doug. Your show is the most boring car thing on the interwebs. Please, pulleeeze, hire a producer and director who know how to do TV.

The Maserati? YFKM (You’re Fucking Kidding Me, invented just for you). Italian quality? Now I know you’re on drugs.

I got the Jeep itch in my teens. That ended abruptly when my buddy and I wedged a CJ 3 between boulders in the Rocky Mountains. It was a long hike out and an expensive extraction of the CJ. My short wheelbase GMC Sierra 4 x 4 was a much better, reliable ride all around, including in the big rocks and narrow creeks. I

Buy them? Nobody is going to buy these cars. Can you say “leasing?” Especially if track days don’t void the warranty.

Maybe he needs 2 vehicles to make his life work better. I bought our Toyota Sienna AWD new for $26K in 2006 and my mint condition 1995 Miata for $6K. So, $32K, which is well under the the proposed $40K budget. Sure, 2015 Sienna AWDs are about $34K, but $6K Miatas are still easy to find.

Decades ago, my motorcycle riding buddies and I heard exactly what you say here. Nonetheless, we raced on public roads. I didn’t quit until two of my friends were severely injured. Unfortunately, lessons like this one are usually learned the hard way.

Despite nearly quitting the video at 17 minutes out of sheer boredom, I sat through and was rewarded with improved production values in Tavarish’s segment. More pictures, less talking heads is good. During the first 23 minutes , what’s needed is more pix and videos of the cars being discussed. Inset the talking head

There have been a number of times in my life when there was the exact right new vehicle at the right price, so I bought: 1982 GMC Sierra 4x4 for $13K, 1985 Fiero GT for $12K and a 2006 Sienna AWD for $26K. All were end-of-model-year close-outs. But now it seems like a strange period in the car biz. At the end of 2014,

Writing here as a gearhead who has been paid to write screenplays and produce film and video, I have to say this show needs serious revisions. Reminds me of “Wayne’s World,” only not funny. It’s too slow, too static in appearance and lacks “heat.” First thing, get a better set. Even a garage with some interesting cars

Does the porn sound track come with the car?
