I agree with this. Being from Kentucky unions we’re what kept the coal industry from more or less enslaving the eastern half of our state. The real solution is to organize unions in Bangladesh, India, and China. Because having unions in places with already high standards of living just makes those labor costs even less competitive. And you can have the best organized union in the world, but it’ll make no difference if the factory closes down.
