It can be modded, but many mods are a crapshoot. Think Oblivion style modding not Skyrim lol

It retains some small bugs, and the mods are very much a roll of the dice. However, the base game and DLC is VERY MUCH worth playing. The graphics and feeling like a shooting game are the only way in which it is inferior to Fallout 4. If you enjoyed Fallout 3 you will love it.
