Fun fact: one of the other people that Maze Runner guy beat for Best Breakthrough was Rosamund Pike… who was nominated for Best Trans-Atlantic Breakthrough back in 2003. There's three possible explanations for this:

One of his last. To The Wonder was his very last review.

Room 237. It's the only film on the list that I've seen and disliked, so my choice was easy.

Fun/baffling fact: this film shares two cast members with The Dark Knight.

The worst thing about Mark Millar is that when he's not trying to be outrageous, he's an OK writer. When he doesn't put things like a creature made from the shit of the evillest people or a vagina with a bomb in it in his comics, he's decent.

Medical marijuana is premium now?

Is it wrong that I was more offended by how boring the first two were than all of the gross shit?

I was expecting an interesting discussion about the meaning of scenes in The Shining. Instead, I got a bunch of boring crackpots talking and projecting their pet conspiracy theory onto the film. The only theory of merit within the film is the guy theorizes that Kubrick hid subliminal penises throughout the film

I didn't like Room 237. I was excited to see it but I ended up being terribly disappointed. It's one of those movies that I have trouble fathoming why people like.

I'm so relieved that it's not him. It hurts enough that Dave was (is?) an AIDS denialist.

This can't be true, can it?

Or maybe he doesn't disavow them because he doesn't want his mom to disconnect from him.

Did anyone else get Salo flashblacks when they talked about The Hole?

The most recent episode of It's Always Sunny makes your comparison even better.

Scientology's secrecy about their core beliefs earn them hate too. As pointed out by Going Clear, other religions put their core beliefs out in the open. With Scientology, they don't tell you about Xenu until you've paid them a shit load of money. Add on their slave labor and the fact that their leader is basically a

I think the reason people get angry over Parsons' continued wins and not Cranston's (aside from the huge gulf in quality between their shows) is because Walt evolved with the show while whoever Parsons plays on Big Bang doesn't. Season 1 Walt is a very different character than Season 5 Walt.

They were apparently planning one, but then 9/11 happened and they got squeamish about the ending.

Spoilers for Gone Girl, but it was already spoiled by the nominations.
