A transparent sociopath? I don't respect that, and she wasn't transparent to Hannah about it. She told Adam at a bar, and they are addicts so question whether she was too preoccupied to filter it.

I liked Mimi Rose's performance in this episode. I didn't understand the motivation to stay with Adam in the last one. I fully agree with you about Adam's sister. I've never understood why she is on the show other than to explain him like a pseudo narrator.

No one thinks that. You either friend/family or get embarrassed you don't know when to laugh at things.

This was the first episode I thought Hannah was a fully drawn character. The bar scene was the first time Hannah and Adam seemed like a real couple, although the scene at the door of their apartment in the breakup episodes ago was pretty 'affecting.' Mimi Rose was the second most interesting character and Fran was the

"Penn Station is a deal breaker for me" was so funny. Mostly life in NYC is worrying about the stupid stuff, but there is plenty of unpredictability. I didn't leave the house expecting to run into John Kennedy, Lou Reed, Tony Bennett or Danny Aiello.

It's satirizing the commercial, but not what I find odd : a car company from a country without army celebrating dropping a kid off to join the US army.

That Japanese car company commercial celebrating Americans joining the army really takes pandering to a ridiculous level. The ISIS sketch wasn't clever, but any sendup of that commercial is worthwhile. Plus, at least a couple entitled brats have run off to join ISIS.

Shit, forgot how great Marc Maron was. That fight on the council was well done. As far complaining about the directing, maybe work in a little analysis of the hazy quality, what that's implying and why they might have made that choice. Otherwise, it feels like just another ad hominem attack. After her discussion of

I like the past two episodes more than anything they've done to date. The writing was great again this week, other than Elijah who came off as mean. I think Ray becoming part of the establishment is a worthwhile storyline. Hannah's storyline was expected and funny.

People in Portland don't want to hear about Seattle. They are pretty similar. Portland is a l little more down with the cause, but it's where young people go to retire. Bolt bus is same as Chinatown bus to Boston, and only $20

'bound to hate' is such entitled bullshit. I bought it, I wanted to like it. It was terrible, and I hated it. I'm not American.

You should stop calling me kid was sad. I thought Adam would say 'goodbye Hannah' after that.

Oh, you're quitting us Hanna? Rejecting us first?

I think you're right about the vocals.

It's some of that and re-analyzing the worth of the earlier work. I love shoegaze, but it was Ride, Slowdive, Lush, Cursive, Elbow playing it. Black Flag didn't suddenly push out a shoegaze album.

Does Rhianna suck or I am too old to appreciate her brilliance?

Fair enough. There's a few reviews on metacritic today. Absolute Punk and punknews don't love it.

A master of efficiency and the obvious.

Just released today? It's like you have a connection to the band.

I got notes like that when I lived in Queens. I loved that piece and the Bushwick "who dat?" "it's just Karim and his life partner." It was a better episode than I expected. Let It Go describing the NFL domestic abuse policy.
