The Japanese release had a week-one patch to fix that problem. Sounds like the US version will have one too!

If it’s anything like VII on PS4, it’s the PC port plus improvements like the ability to increase gameplay speed. And trophies. It’s not a straight rip of the PS1 game.

Amazon keeps fucking up and showing no discount on games that are too far out. I preordered Metroid when it was announced, and it apparently didn’t quality for the discount then...now it does. CoD will be the same way.

I couldn’t get a preorder on either Classic system, but I got an NES Classic by going to a Target at 8 am when they opened a few days after it launched. That’s my plan for this one too.

You’ll find an SNES Classic. Nintendo keeps stressing how they’ll be easier to find than the NES was last year, and they seem pretty determined to deliver on that promise.

To be fair, having an all-digital game collection on the Switch is really appealing to many. Myself and most of my friends are nearly 100% digital-only on Switch.
