I’m on number two on my own. The best advice is to open a separate savings account and throw some monthly amount, dependent on income and where you live, in it as emergency funds. It will pay off when you aren’t scrambling last minute for an emergency loan for whatever happens.

This has been happening all over the Bay Area and they are told not to interfere. Of course, the thieves know so it’s a relatively safe crime.  The only way to bust them is the cameras.
