a similar situation exists here in Michigan. If you look at the arc that I-69 cuts through the state, the part of the state inside the curve of that arc definitely bumps up the average of the state as a whole, and bumps it up a lot.

I'm not sure if I'm bummed or relieved at Michigan's score.
