It's the internet and I don't speak precisely sometimes, forget shitheads, let's call them deeply irresponsible and selfish **as a group** if literally no one bothers to go to the police.

We don't know now, and likely no one will follow up on this story if charges are never brought. Hooray modern day journalism.
I don't know about you, but "social media says this guy is a serial rapist" is not going to protect people in NYC from this person as much as "charged with multiple counts of rape" or "convicted of multiple accounts of rape."
Considering there appears to be many many accounts of assault, I would find it utterly incredible if no one ultimately presses charges. We are talking about serial assaults, through one company, in one small region, where the victims probably know each other, over a relatively short period of time. This is not the…
You actually make a damn good point. Some other news organization, maybe a large serious one that also has an entertainment branch, can follow up on this later…
If this guy is a serial rapist and sexual assaulter, they damn well owe his future victims a hell of a lot if they all choose to stay silent.
You are either a moron or an intentionally dishonest person. I give my opinion on how I think they SHOULD behave. That is within my rights obviously. They obviously don't HAVE to do what I say. So STFU with that junk.
Do you agree with me that they should press charges. Yes or no. Stop being difficult on purpose.
You dunce. I get to comment on how I think they should behave, for the betterment of society. Which is what I did. If I remember this issue six months from now and find no charges were filled I will be incredibly disappointed.
I get that and I mentioned it elsewhere. However when we are talking about a guy who has no power in the industry, women who probably know each other, who all work in the same company and have allegedly had relatively recent problems with this guy… it would be AMAZING to me if no one filed charges. Amazing and…
Right, we don't know, since we are going off of tweets. UCB could have tons of info and I don't blame them for letting a person go if that is the case. My main point however is, if the limited info we have to go on is actually true, charges better be filed
I really, really *really* hope the AV Club keeps tabs on this and updates us all when multiple sexual assault charges are filed in this matter. Or, if two or three months from now, no charges are filed at all still, I would like to know that too! You know, some real follow up journalism.
Yeah I made the same mistake but I also skimmed it, like most articles I "read" here. Whoops!
Part of it is people behaving like a-holes online because it is much easier to do that behind a screen than in person. The other part is extremely lazy clickbait journalism where writers desperately create "news" out of twitter feuds, so that they can write more articles, so that the companies they work for can get…
Oh F**k off. That's not what I was going for. And you know it.
I hope that isn't sarcasm. This dude isn't Bill Cosby, he can't make or break careers. This isn't separate women spread out over years and locations who don't know of each other. Apparently it is it multiple people in one company making serious claims about one guy. To NOT file charges would be unethical and…
It's twitter, a place of utter garbage, what do you expect.
Sad but true. At least this time it is non-news about possible rapes rather than non-news about two actors fighting over who is a "candy ass" lol.
I'd take complaints from multiple employees seriously. I would investigate as much as I could. And I would really want immensely serious complaints like this to turn into the women filing actual charges against the guy in court. NOT filing charges would be incredibly suspicious to me.
And the multiple female accusers have an obligation to society to report him so that society at large can be protected by him. Just getting him kicked out of the brigade is not enough and frankly is selfish to the extreme. So they better file some damn charges.
