My favorite columnist is Carolyn Hax, who writes on The Washington Post website. She's excellent.

I posted this link on my Facebook yesterday, because it's something that really bugs me.
They are his (and Michelle's) children. I don't find it at all inappropriate that they want to control what images, if any, are posted in public. That's his right and privilege as a parent.
Ferris Bueller has gray hair??!!??
And here come the buzzards.
@doodley is not amused: Yes to your perfect scenario. *lol*
@doodley is not amused: If the school has a right to conduct the search, they should conduct it. But if the school is going to strip the child, the parent should be there. I don't see any justification otherwise.
The worst thing to me about the initial incident is that the school didn't notify the parents first. How dare they touch that child without calling the parents?
Just once, I'd like to see the wife walk through the press up to the cheating sumbitch and slap him, like the mother in "Jaws."
My first thought was "been done" but then I saw you already knew. :-)
I've never been attracted to the pretty-boy type. I like big burly ugly guys. Always have.
You had me at Depp and Bale.

Oh, man....what I wouldn't give to be in London for this exhibit.
Now I know where Zach and Slater got their wardrobe.
OMG, they removed her lower ribs!! Poor girl...I hope they gave them back.
I've never seen anyone referred to as 'crazy cat lady' unless they had multiple cats - A LOT of cats.
Duh. Sex after 40 is good.
I hate that movie poster. The sick child is relegated to a corner at the bottom, overlooked and out of view of the healthy, pretty girls above her - and by default, most people who just sort of scan the poster.
Sneaky Harry Potter reference! Woo hoo!
