A couple of things: if you're a Prime member you can stream Amazon's library of tv shows and movies for free. Also, Amazon filters its app store for malware, and while you can install Amazon Marketplace on any Android device that lets you do so, there's probably more support on the Kindle Fire.

The 2011 MBA spawned a new class of laptops (Ultrabooks). The 2010 MBA did not.
