Awesome comment. Gratz on the star.

Well said.

Someone posted that in the forum thread.

I love the racing flames. :)

I guess if the third party app data was important to me, I would try one of these solutions to backup my contacts and then erase my address book to attempt to clear whatever the issue was: [forums.techarena.in]

I agree that what the vet did was wrong, but the kids were also wrong in their response. They could have handled it much better is all I'm saying.

The vet obviously has some issues, and needed help—not a beatdown. Apparently he had just lost his job at GM recently as well, so he was probably mentally unstable. You don't resort to using violence on someone who isn't in possession of their full mental faculties, and calling him a "faggot" on video pretty much

+1000! I can't wait until all the carriers go to LTE, and phones can be universally swapped between networks (which I'm hopeful will eventually happen). Can you imagine if you had to buy different telephones for your land line depending on what carrier you had? Cellular carriers ought to operate the same way as land

Thanks for the link. Still, I think if Google had the kind of influence that Apple does with the carriers, we would see Google Wallet on the new Nexus phone. Apple is the only phone manufacture that has a "pure" product on Verizon's network without any kind of rebranding or bastardization. As much as I dislike Apple a

You're right, the .ipa files only contain the applications themselves, but the backups should contain third party app data (as long as it's stored on the phone and not the cloud):

iPhone backups do work, unless you tell iTunes not to synch certain data. I have a version of the free "Wi-Fi" finder app that Apple yanked a while back, and yet it is installed in my new iPhone 4S. How is this possible? Because I backed up my 3GS and had iTunes restore it to my 4S.

I really do hope to see a Sony Ericsson Incredible Optimus II Prime though.

Haha you sicko.

But good luck trying to activate an unlocked phone on Verizon's network, or Sprint's CDMA network for that matter. This will be less of an issue once the carriers go to LTE and you can swap out the SIM cards.

Agreed. I have the 16GB, but between the podcasts, music, and large size of photos that the gorgeous camera takes, it simply isn't enough space. I just orderd the 64GB model.

Pretty much the same experience that I have with my 4S. I love the phone, don't use Siri much.

I'm not a huge user of Siri either. She's way too limited in functionality as it currently is. It'll be nice when I can use her open any app and dictate my words into them, but you're right, the voice recognition accuracy needs improvement.

I think the naming scheme for their next OS is the least of RIM's problems.

Totally different applications.
