Yup... 16 hours into the game and that fire longsword at +9 is still my primary weapon; only changed it up at the Smelter Demon for obvious reasons...
I pumped up my carry weight specifically to carry the Pursuer Great Shield. I'm still running Falconer armor but I've also got a +9 Heide Knight sword. Beastly! :D
The always available NPC summons have made the game less frustrating. I welcome that change because I’ve already beat the original version, I don’t want to beat my head against the wall all over again just to get to the DLC (which I never played).

I just learned that apparently by killing Rom in Bloodborne I actually helped push the world closer to destruction. At least that’s what the internet tells me.
