Yeah, this glitch pretty much broke the game for me at first. Still, it made me go nearly full melee, and just never use VATs with guns - which actually turned out to be a lot of fun.

It’s interesting how ingrained the whole woman-takes-man’s surname thing is in American culture. I backed this on Kickstarter and really enjoyed the game. Fingers crossed they remove some of the more grindy aspects and spiff up combat a bit in the sequel they’re working on- parts of the game were a drag, but it was a truly beautiful game, with choices that actually matter (I’m looking at you, Telltale).

Same! I found that about 1/4th of the way through my playthrough, and I haven’t found a melee weapon to replace it since (though I switch to the ripper now and then because it’s awesome).

I’d be shocked if it wasn’t, after DA:I. It’s honestly the best looking and optimized engine on the market right now, IMO.

The Frostbite engine is pretty fucking incredible. Easily one of the best looking ones out there, and optimized to boot. DA:I and this are straight up stunning.
