Heh. I miss the Bay, in all its ridiculous splendor.

Dead on.
That show probably has the most plot twists each episode per capita ever.
The thing about Twitter is I don’t actually know anyone IRL with a Twitter.
Yeah, fair point. It’s a shame that the novel market is in this state right now. Hopefully it will follow suit soon, but I really don’t know. Certainly disheartening.
To be fair, Capcom is nowhere near as bad as Konami.
The way they’re dodging the shots, it almost looks like your own shots can hurt you and create your own bullet hell.
Damn. Those all look really good.
It’s kind of like San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. I lived in SF for six and a half years and I still liked going there on weekends. There’s something about being in a space where people from all over the world are going for the first time - just all that excitable life passing by. I loved it.
Legendary ship indeed.
Yep. In my experience, you needed to specifically select which videos have ads - it’s part of the process each time you upload a video, and check a box saying that “All the content in this video belongs to me,” etc. Someone said that there’s an option to make ads appear on all videos by default, which I wasn’t aware…
It was fun, and enjoyable, but it was also objectively bad.
Gotcha. Apparently Nic is the sole writer on the show, though.
I’m almost entirely sure that ads won’t be enabled unless the user specifically sets them up (ie. YouTube never goes in and adds ads to a video against a user’s will). As someone else pointed out, these folks are vloggers, and have been doing this since 2007 or so, and there’s an option to have ads on all the user’s…
Ugh.
Hmm. Was it just the way he said it? Because having women in the writing room on True Detective sounds like what it needs.
Wait, what? That’s what that bit about the illegitimate daughter meant right before dude got shanked? Jesus.
I was extremely uncomfortable with her dialogue in that scene. I could see what Pizz was trying to get at (like Charlotte says below), but the way it came across just felt... off?
Fair enough. I wasn’t sure if it had to be enabled on a case-by-case basis or not.
Yep. It seems rather coldly calculated, if it is indeed legit, and not all a big hoax for ad dollars.
