Having grown up with these things as my only source of mobile gaming, I promise you: even at the time they got boring quickly.

That’s not really how comic books, at least the long running multi-generational ones like X-Men work - creators come and go, each one telling their stories and then moving on. Why would you complain that someone writing for X-Men a decade or more ago wasn’t building towards Hickman’s run now? That’s absurd.

I’d disagree about it being the best, given that Dawn of War 2 exists, but then that would lead to arguments about whether DoW2 is an RTS or an ARPG or a tactics game or what, and I don’t feel like that right now.
