Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say it was the general consensus of gaming journalists/the commentariat.

Does it, though? So far as I know, Bungie’s not selling Trials armor or ToM (Is that in D2 now? I loved that gun) or actual ‘legendary’ gear. If you’re running around in that gear, people will still know you were there and did the thing. Maybe you did it after the level cap was raised enough to trivialize the

But what if I don’t mind paying $15 for a skin I’ll use for the next two years?

Destiny is not a free game

I assume they’re actually selling accounts in possession of the weapons in question, but I have no idea. Or maybe it’s a farming service? Who knows.

I haven’t logged on to Destiny 2 for a long time, so I don’t know how much stuff is priced.

I mean, what’s the alternative? For years, gamers insisted that it was fine for people to be able to pay for cosmetic stuff as long as it wasn’t P2W, and now that devs are taking that at face value, it isn’t. Personally, my feeling is that as long as you know up front what you’re getting for your cash, it’s fine.

So when I was a kid, I wanted Super Thunder Blade for Christmas. I don’t remember if I got the title wrong or if my Grandma just got the wrong thing, but I wound up with Thunder Force 2 instead. It was an awesome game, but it was way too hard for me at the time, and I never beat it.

All-star Superman, Superman For All Seasons, Red Son, Kingdom Come, For the Man Who Has Everything, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way...

If Kylo had designed it, you know it would be dated from Anakin’s birthday or something.

This is good Kinja.

I honestly assumed the body-double that was playable in the Pre-sequel was supposed to be the same guy as the body-double you kill in BL2 to get the voice changer, given how Wilhelm and Nisha wound up. Huh.

Maybe if you reread my comment you’d notice that at no point did I make CDPR out to be the bad guys. In fact, I explicitly said that Sapkowski screwed himself.

Though, reading between the lines, his feelings towards the games may have more to do with how royally he screwed himself on the licensing agreement with CDPR.

Is this a sequel? I definitely remember A Styx game being on Games with Gold before.

Deathproof was a horror film, surely? Not one with a supernatural villain, but it’s a slasher through and through.

I mean, YEAH, but what else am I supposed to put all this salad dressing, bacon bits, croutons, and cheese on?

That’s honestly why I find him so compelling. He’s volcanic and impulsive in a way we haven’t seen in Star Wars before.

Kylo will find some measure of redemption. Whether he survives it or goes out like Grandpa is another question, but he’s unquestionably going to find some spark of grace before the end, because that’s what Star Wars is about.

Was Edda cursed because of her birth? My PC copy of the first game included a novella that tells the story of Geralt’s tussle with her, and, while Foltest is worried that her strigahood is because she’s a product of incest, Geralt tells him it’s just that someone cursed her. I don’t know if it was an adaptation or
