You may be right. On the plus side, there have been several stone-cold classics since then - DOOM, Titanfall 2, Prey (if you want to define that one as an FPS), etc.

Man, I love destructible terrain. Why did Red Faction turn out to be an evolutionary dead end in FPS design?
There’s also no easy way to open them in a new tab, since right-clicking on the Comments bubble only gives an option to save the image (at least on Edge).
Would they, though? Assuming this finding is upheld on appeal (and Valve doesn’t decide to just exit the entire EU market to avoid dealing with it), it would apply to any other publisher’s digital storefront just as much as Steam.
Knowing that would have required me to have searched for and found its Steam page. ;) (That’s one of my pet peeves with Kotaku articles - they generally don’t have links to where games are actually available for sale.)
A guy named Idaho that’s cloned over and over? A deified Emperor presiding over a civilization in decay to the point of collapse? They’re not hiding their influences, are they?
Reminds me a lot of that canceled Fable game I felt like I was the only one interested in. Sounds promising.
It’s... not Jason’s job to praise stuff? At no point does he say Nintendo was ever claiming Chamber Dungeons were Mario Maker-level, he’s just describing what quite a few people online have been wishing and hoping for (and talking themselves into expecting) and then making it clear that this ain’t that. Personally,…
Based on his history, I can only assume he’ll upload a video of himself in full SS cosplay a month after that, so any sympathy I have for him will, no doubt, be short-lived.
Man, worrying about a developer not iterating on a concept is no reason to praise something that’s not praiseworthy.
My understanding is it has all the Link’s Awakening DX stuff EXCEPT for the photographer mouse and his Gameboy Camera functionality.
Look, at this point I think it’s pretty clear that PDP’s actions DO speak louder than his words, given that his words were, ‘I’m going to give money to an anti-hate organization’, and his actions were to NOT give money to an anti-hate organization.
“Should these games fall into obscurity just because they weren’t profitable in their time?”
Comics move slowly.
My problem is that (to my eternal shame) I never finished Witcher 2 and I really feel like I SHOULD before tackling a huge character-driven game like 3- I lost a save right at the very end of the game when my 360 died, and when I restarted I sided with Vernon instead of the Scoia’tel and couldn’t muster the energy to…
Every time I think about what game to play next, I remember that I STILL haven’t played Witcher 3, and it bums me out, not least because I know I’ll love it when I finally get to it.
Given that I don't really want to track down a functioning Gamecube or Wii, I will HAPPILY pay for Switch versions of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. You hear me, Nintendo? Free money, right there.
Yeah man! I never played the second one - I was a kid and the family computer wouldn’t run it and last time I tried to play it on a modern PC I didn’t have any luck - but I loved loved LOVED the first one and its expansion.
That comparison jumped out at me too. That or the Battlezone reboots from a while back.
I mean, no one hung out in Dalaran because it was under a giant purple bubble. (I assume you meant Darnassus. :) )
