Lot of love for Bloodstained here, and it’s good - really makes me excited for the main Bloodstained game whenever that actually comes out - but if you’re into Assassin’s Creed at all but skipped Rogue, don’t sleep on it. It’s really excellent. Good story, lets you see the other side of the whole Templars vs Assassins

That’s my point.

I... actually don’t know if I agree with that. Certainly if it is a money grab, they aren’t using any of the standard predatory mobile game strategies - Polygon’s review says there’s no microtransactions or energy system, just a one-time $5 price tag.

Honestly, even if it’s underwhelming, that’s probably better than anyone was expecting when it was announced.

I still hold out hope of Frost coming back - even if she didn’t even survive her own ending in the one game she was in.

One minor correction, Ethan. Zelda is the boy.

Amen. Maybe I’m fooling myself, but the tone of the message seems to indicate there’s at least hope of it continuing elsewhere.

Man, what I wouldn’t do for more Hannibal.

I have heard that Crystal Star was originally written as an entirely different sci-fi novel, and then was basically ported into the Star Wars universe at the publisher’s request.

I kind of wondered if they were going to connect Rainbow Six and The Division - it seemed like the vague terrorist plot in Siege could be connected to the Cash Flu that wipes out New York in The Division. But it actually makes zombies, I guess? Or was that whole thing just a fun, non-canonical side-story?

That’s basically how I feel about Shovel Knight - I’ve loved all the additions they’ve made, but I also dearly want to see them do something new.

Meanwhile, I’m stuck on the reanimated knights boss fight at the top of the Weeping City.

It’s also on 360, and is backwards(forwards?)-compatible with Xbone. Great character and story, but you can really see how hobbled the design and world were by the Vita’s constraints compared to the ‘main’ AC games.

Definitely.

In the interests of cautious optimism, if you’re just controlling the station/ship’s systems to try and help or guide the people, that could work fairly well with touch controls (or be indescribably frustrating, depending on how responsive survivors are to you opening up opportunities for them).

Apparently, it’s a mobile game:

Then take a nap.

Because a lot of people have joined Gold in the four years since then and maybe they’d like the game too?

Celeste is SO GOOD, you guys. If you haven’t played it, maybe consider what’s causing you to make such poor life decisions, but resolve to do better in the future, starting by grabbing Celeste.
