Oh yeah. Don’t get me wrong, I played and enjoyed Vanilla D3 well enough, but post-RoS is night and day. It’s genuinely inspiring to see a company recover from such a rough start. Hopefully there’ll be some Diablo news at this years Blizzcon!

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the improvements will require a Reaper of Souls purchase. I don’t remember exactly what’s RoS-exclusive and what isn’t, but at the very least the Crusader and Adventure Mode are, and they’re absolutely worth the price.

It’s definitely still grindy - that’s just an inherent part of the genre - but (I think) it’s a better grind.

If you thought the core gameplay was fine but didn’t like either the AH or the ‘play the campaign four times on different difficulties’ gameplay loop, yeah you absolutely should. The AH is long gone, drop rates were hugely boosted (in a good way), balance is much better, difficulty levels are much more granular and

Vanilla D3 was rough, and I say that as someone who played Vanilla D3 a lot. But while Blizzard DRASTICALLY improved it, for a lot of people the damage was done to their opinion of it.

As I understand it, Blizzard and Activision operate largely independently of each other.

There were definitely a few shrine puzzles where I screwed up aiming a Stasis launch, and waiting around for it to come off cooldown was a bummer.

To be fair, not stepping in poop is an excellent life skill to impart to our children.

This and Brooklyn 99's new lease on life - maybe there is some goodness left in the world!

Wonderful news! Now if only someone would pick up The Exorcist....

You may note that the 7 million figure was for Rise of the Tomb Raider, not Tomb Raider.

Someone over on IO9 was claiming that Hulu, at least, was bidding on the show against Netflix and Smazon. I don’t know if it’s true - a quick search of Twitter, where they claimed to have seen the news didn’t turn anything up - but I choose to hope.

I legitimately loved using Kinect’s voice commands. Granted, I mostly used them to open Hulu or Netflix, but it was convenient in the way that things that genuinely improve your day-to-day life should be.

Maybe it is totally sci-fi, but it’s at least partially inspired by fantasy ideas. And his Reckoners series, despite being a more-or-less sci-fi superhero series, had some more fantastical elements towards the end.

You know what, genuinely good on him. Here’s a guy who seems to legitimately be trying to be a better person and, maybe a better role model for the kids watching him. Hopefully he’s able to do it, because I speak from experience when I say it can be hard to unlearn the habits of a lifetime, especially with something

Based on Sanderson’s description, it seems like maybe it is a blend:

Oh man, thanks for nailing the annoyance that is Bungie communications. I legitimately have no idea why they think all the cute obfuscation and evasiveness is in any way good. Teases are fun when you also give real information. When all you ever do is tease, it gets old real quick.

I played more hours on Destiny 1 than I really want to think about - I did every raid on Hard Mode, had every (non-PS exclusive) exotic, had max Grimoire score, etc. I was psyched for Destiny 2, and bought the digital deluxe edition.

Gain Ground on Switch?

Feel free to dunk on me for this, but I enjoyed Iron Fist.
