If the game works, I owe them for it. If it’s broken, sure, I’ll return it. But if I buy something and just don’t like it, that’s on me. Anyway, other people have said they do sell it episodically on console, so I’ll be buying the first ep on XBL to see if I want to buy the rest.

They offer it episode-by-episode on Xbone? I’ll just check it out there, then. Thanks for the heads up!

It may be legal, but I don’t think it’s moral - if I play the game, I owe the developers for it regardless of whether I enjoyed it or not, thus why I’d like to be able to buy only the first episode.

This sounds fascinating, but it would be nice if I could buy just the first chapter and see if I like it before plunging in for the full season. I could, i suppose, buy it and then request a refund if it’s not for me, but that feels wrong.

Man, I did NOT get that vibe from her at all. Might be because I tended to roll with her and PeeBee early on, but it seemed to me like she tended to get under other squadmates’ skin with her Asari fangirlism. She’s a total space weaboo and it drives everyone nuts, especially the actual Asari you meet, but she doesn’t

That’s something you mentioned that I’ve seen a lot of people overlook: unlikeable characters aren’t always badly written. Sometimes they’re very well written, but are intended to be unlikeable, even when they’re protagonists. Anders in DA2 and Cora in Andromeda are, I think, other examples of this.

Is this a surprise to anyone? Listen, I respect the heck out of modders, especially the ones with crazy huge ambitious addons, but EVERY friggin’ Bethesda game has at least one ‘port an older Beth game into this newer one’ mod, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that actually got finished.

Very true, as the last generation showed when MS was in the lead and didn’t want Sony players playing with Xbox folks. Unfortunately, it’s not likely to change, since only the guy in second place has incentive to make the change.

The biggest problem with the Batmobile, in my opinion, is the default controls that try to make third-person shooter controls work for a car. Tearing around Gotham is a blast. Defending the bombs from Arkham Knight’s tanks was fun once I changed the control scheme. Riddler’s tracks... kind of suck, honestly. Should

Yeah, and that tension is at the root of much of American society. I’m not happy with how the 2016 election turned out, but it would hardly be right to simply ignore the feelings and desires of people in less populous states. Electoral college and popular vote both have their pros and cons, and it’s silly to claim

I think it’s in-game challenges, like Destiny’s Milestones.

I’d meant that as a joke. I would ACTUALLY rather have a voiced Zelda, but I’d also rather have a voiced Link instead of grunts and it seems like Nintendo still thinks silent protagonists are a thing people like.

Destiny 2's biggest problem is that the D2 team was so busy making a sequel to Destiny 1 that they failed to realize Destiny 1 kind of sucked until the Live Team made it excellent. So three years worth of fixes and improvements and tweaks and stuff was entirely ignored.

I vaguely remember them saying they’d send another team or whatever to escort her to safety.

I would play this.

My only problem with BotW was how disappointing the Divine Beasts were. Build a new Zelda on the same bones, the same systems, but with deeper and more complex dungeons like Skyward Sword? I cannot get my money out fast enough.

I honestly don’t remember where I read it. I think it was either here or on Polygon. Either way, it’s certainly something I HOPE happens, though I’m not expecting it.

I know it won’t happen, but the recent rumors of a Major’s Mask-style sequel to BotW (in the sense that it’s built on the same engine and systems) has me really wanting to play an adventure as BotW’s Zelda. She could be the silent protagonist while Link’s fully voice-acted! Craziness!

Here’s a thought: maybe people playing video games (especially people being PAID to play video games) should just be decent human beings that DON’T insult others because they’re frustrated or whatever while playing friggin’ VIDEO GAMES.

Wow. That is terrible. The voice acting, the writing, even the hype trailer was terrible. I have literally seen Oblivion mods that were more impressive than this, and they were free.
