It’s on Steam, and reviews show Mostly Positive, and it’s $19.99, so you’re not breaking the bank if you don’t like it.
I want a FIGMA Pharah so bad.
I’d think of it as something like the character of Locke Lamora - He doesn’t abide by society-at-large’s code, but he does adhere to the moral code of his deity, and (more or less) to that of the thieves’ society.
Several people have commented on why your suggestion is implausible at best. Several other people have also pointed out why emulation, no matter how well done, is not the same as the real thing.
Keep in mind, this is all from memory, so I’m probably getting the details wrong, but there’s a part in one of the later levels where you’re supposed to hit a button to open a door or something, and on most popular emulators, either the button wouldn’t appear or the door wouldn’t open, because when the game was being…
I’m sure the reason Activision hasn’t responded is A: there isn’t really any way they look good for getting involved. Whoever they side with, they’re going to make other people angry, B: the chances that whoever actually handled this sort of thing back in the day is still working at Activision are slim-to-nil, and the…
Not if his time arises from hardware interaction, in which case it would only be able to be reproduced on a console, not an emulator.
Because emulation is just that: emulation. It’s not the actual game running on actual hardware, where all kinds of edge-cases can occur.
So I watched the video because I didn’t want to misstate my defense of Heather.
Why would it have to be something unique to his console or cartridge? Assuming it really is a confluence of a personal trick or strategy and some weird real-world edge-case hardware phenomenon, it’s likely that it’s some quirk that emulation just can’t or doesn’t replicate.
Ask Activision.
Why, though? David Crane sums it up perfectly, in my opinion:
Doesn’t that mean that boxing, for example, stops being a sport when it goes to decision? Or baseball when the final out is due to an umpire decision rather than something else?
Wrong article, but Doomfist definitely didn’t kill Tracer. He damaged her chronal stabilizer, and anyway wasn’t that whole scene a flashback to how Winston captured him in the first place?
Man, that Peach outfit is PHENOMENAL. I would absolutely use that on my ‘sader. I like the Zelda Wizard too, but I’m not wild about the DH Samus. The helmet feels a little too big. Maybe if the helmet blades were taken off?
The computers weren’t the issue, it was the monitors that were killer.
That’s definitely a Midwest basement. Looks exactly like my parents’ basement, even down to the basement floor jack supporting the I-beam.
Will this work if our Nemesis is dead? I had a truly awful nemesis who beat me just about every time we’d fight. It seemed like anything I was trying to do, he’d suddenly show out of nowhere to kill me. I still remember how excited I was when I beat him, and how much more excited I was when I saw later that he’d…
