I loved 3, though I also enjoy the sci-fi wankery and ancient techno gods more than most, so take my opinion for what it’s worth.

I still remember seeing stacks of dusty WoW Collector’s Editions sitting on clearance at EB Games. I wasn’t interested in an MMO, so I totally ignored them. What might have been....
Man. I’m still on, like, chapter 2 or 3 or something. So many sidequests! And how can I break Prompto’s heart by NOT riding chocobos all day? (Seriously, I love how the other three will just randomly jump while riding chocos. They look like they’re just having such a blast.)
Have you ever played through an MMO transition? It’s really simple.
Expansions =/= sequels.
Well, while I’m not going to argue that either expansion was all that good, they were just expansions, and non-canon ones at that. Not sequels, and certainly not half a dozen of them.
Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate were expansions to the first game, and F.E.A.R. Files was just a compilation of F.E.A.R. and those two expansions (and was only on 360). Come on, it’s right there in the links you provided.
Weren’t there only two sequels? And while I never played all the way through 3, I remember liking 2 well enough.
Ahh man, I loved that game. It was easy to make fun of a game where posessing a dog’s food dish to rattle it around was a game mechanic, but if you were put off by that, you missed out. (The microscope scare is my personal favorite.)
Look at the old Genesis-era art, especially Sonic 1's boxart. He was a bit of a porker back in the day.
Is there any hint why I’m suddenly getting spammed with captchas to prove I’m not a bot? This morning I had to do three of them in a row before the app would actually work.
Out of pure curiosity, is it that rude anger is your default tone when responding to someone, or was it a conscious choice?
The conspiracy theory is that YouTube promotes sponsored videos or bullshit giveaway videos instead of videos with merit. When asked directly by H3h3 productions, he said, YouTube explained that they were promoting videos with more “activity.”
Right? You’ve got to figure Blizzard engineers are some of the first to buy these cheat programs when they’re released, just so they can tear them apart.
What’s this? A story about a mass banwave and no screenshot gallery of tearful/defiant cheaters threatening to sue/claiming it was just once/arguing that a roommate or family member was the REAL cheater/suggesting that it’s really Blizzard’s fault they cheated for me to enjoy?
Well, I lend friends and family games all the time. I can’t speak for anyone else, of course, but currently I’m lending out three games to different people and borrowing one myself.
Yeah. I totally get why they wouldn’t do the whole cast, but I really expected to see Lucio and Soldier: 76 in there. I want to know if S:76's jacket is cool or not! (Spoilers: It’s not. But I will absolutely buy it when it’s for sale at Blizzcon next year and wear it proudly.)
I generally go physical, for the same reason I buy blu-rays and hardcopy books: I like to be able to display my interests. It also helps that I can lend them to friends and family that way.
Hey Jason, whatever happened to that Final Fantasy retrospective you started? As a Sega kid growing up, I only started playing Final Fantasy games in the last few years, and it was great getting to read your takes on the various entries in the series as I’ve been slowly catching up on it.
It was a failed attempt, but I definitely remember interviews with Mark Cerny around the time of its reveal where he said it was a throwback to Sony’s old mascot games, even namedropping Crash Bandicoot specifically.
