Hey, if you want to die on the ‘Revelations is the best AC game’ hill, I’ll stand with you. It was great getting to see Ezio finally grow up and take responsibility, not just for himself, but for the future. Plus, we finally got closure on Altair’s story.

I don’t mind the chibi look, especially since it’s much less pronounced in Bravely Second than the first.

I know that. But Overwatch is much more like TF2 than it is Gears of War or Halo: ODST, so that’s the point of comparison I chose to draw.

I know it’s totally off-topic, but while I’m not wild about that supposed Sombra design in the leak, I so, so, SO hope it’s real, if only because the REST of the leak describes a new co-op PVE mode that seems inspired by TF2's Mann vs. Mann mode, which was my favorite thing ever, aside from Valve charging for each

Apparently, based on my reactions to people talking about it, Undertale, despite the fact that if you just described it to me, it ought to be something I love.

Yeah, there’s a ton of amazing design in Destiny. Hard Light, Monte Carlo, Praedyth’s Revenge (which I know is just a regular sniper rifle reskinned, but whatever), Thorn, and NTTE are probably my favorite guns just for looks.

Everyone’s talking about the armor, and with good reason ‘cause it’s great, but I can’t get over how good that Hard Light looks. I love the look of Omolon guns in general, but Bungie knocked it out of the park with that particular gun, not only in terms of visuals but sound and feel as well.

Instead of an endless cycle of Bungie worrying about which old gun or armor piece is balanced enough to be upgraded to current levels, I wish they’d just give us a transmog/glamour/wardrobe system so I can use whatever the newest piece of gear is, while LOOKING like I’m wearing my favorites.

I’ll be honest. Prepared right, Ore-Ida fries really are the best.

It seems like crests can’t be picked for a second or so after dropping. I’ve got a good wired connection, and I’d frequently melee kill an enemy and run right over their crest, only to have it be credited to a teammate running up behind me.

It feels too gross to run down a hallway and turn your head at the same time. Arkham VR’s designers skip the former to allow the latter.

I’ll be honest: I’m (very slightly) bummed that I won’t be able to give my Modern Warfae remaster to my brother. I’m not terribly interested in replaying Modern Warfare, especially when there’s spaceships to fly.

That’s actually why I bought Horse Armor back in the day.

I hear you. I don’t know if it was years of playing PC games, but I can’t (easily) play console games from the couch I happily watch TV and movies from. I’f I’m gaming, I need to be close to the action.

Love that related stories tag, Mike.

I don’t play sports video games, but I’m curious: is it possible to play so badly in the college games here that you DON’T get drafted? Inquiring minds want to know!

For the same reason a story and cool settings and interesting enemies matter.

As I’ve said elsewhere, the only thing Gearbox did with DNF was get it on disks and into stores. Maybe they should have just washed their hands of the whole mess after buying the franchise, but what’s there was put there by 3D Realms/George Broussard.

I’m with you on Colonial Marines, but just about all they did for DNF was get it on disks and shipped, and, while it was a disappointment, the quality can and should be laid at the feet of George Broussard.

I can’t blame the state of DNF on anyone but George Broussard and 3D Realms.
