I really need some Estinien/Shadowhunter fic in my life.

Yoshi-P has indicated that the Ascian storyline will continue at least through 6.0.

I do love that Zenos—a mortal—has thrown Elidibus’ careful planning into chaos.

I was mad that Crown Prince Crazypants came back; I thought it cheapened the genuinely poignant moment of his death. However, I’m going to trust that Ishikawa can make it work like she did the DRK job quests, the Azim Steppe, and Shadowbringers.

Not everyone comes back.

I did Mt. Gulg last night, and Twelve Gods it was epic! Fighting on a massive golem that is HOLDING UP A MOUNTAIN as you run along its arm, with Soken’s score, and then the oddly flat, white and gold tacky paradise fighting monsters with names like Forgiven Hypocrisy and Forgiven Prejudice...just brilliant.

Sometimes they do mechanics a little too well, and stop DPSing until the mechanic is completely finished. It can make for some very slow runs for tanks and healers.

You left out an important point: Emet-Selch wants to resurrect the innocent lives sacrificed before the Sundering at the cost of millions of innocent lives on the sundered shards. The scene where he tells Y’shtola that he doesn’t think of it as murder because he doesn’t think of the mortal inhabitants of the 13

I will fight anyone who tries to hurt Mama Thicc Kitty.

I agree with everything except that I think the best order is Alisaie, then Alphinaud. I just sat and stared at my screen for several minutes after what happened to a certain character. It really cements the stakes.

She’s amazing. She also wrote the Azim Steppe content, which was hands down my favorite part of Stormblood.

There’s actually a reason: the fae adopted King as a title after interacting with the nearby mortal realm, ruled at the time by a king. Because they don’t have a strong concept of gender, they applied it universally to their ruler.

Most of the time that works, but not always. Urianger is just that badass that he’ll stand in AoEs and shrug it off, while I’m literally standing on top of him and getting vulnerability stacks.

Alisaie is a true Red Mage: she’s going to finish her melee combo if it literally kills her.

I would love to have Novv as a trust option, as well as the city-state leaders. I want to party with best husbando Aymeric!

I loved duoing my way through City of Villains with my wife’s no-nonsense mercenary and my psychotic cheerleader. Good times; fuck NCSoft.

I’m planning to run my DRK through with trusts. I love the class, but I have bad tanxiety. I’m also suffering from DirectX issues that cause the game to randomly crash. I don’t have to stress about letting people down in trust content.

I’m doing the main story quests as RDM. My WHM is at the same level because I use that job to run roulettes.

I wouldn’t recommend the story skip for anything other that 2.0, and even then, there is a lot of context that you’ll miss. Heavensward was, prior to Shadowbringers, widely considered to be the expansion with most engaging story of the game. Stormblood had sone very good moments, and both are important for

I play FFXIV because I love the story, the world building, and the characters.
