16 face DEFINITELY looks better.
16 face DEFINITELY looks better.
Yikes. Not a good refresh.
You say that, but they consistently sell over 10,000 SRT Jeeps at $65-80K....people keep buying them. Those numbers are better than what the Navigator sells every year.
“ Except unlike the phaeton, this is an SUV, so it’s going to sell no matter what.”
People who buy Escalades and Navigators don’t buy base models.
You said Cadillac and Lincoln “have a better track record at selling high end cars”.
Are you kidding me? Nobody buys Lincolns. Cadillacs aren’t flying off the lots either. Cadillac is NOT Mercedes. ATS don’t sell. CTS don’t sell. SRX/XT5 don’t sell.
Exactly. The problem is the service. That’s 100% a real gripe.
I’m seriously not impressed with the Escalade and Denali interiors. The leather dash looks like stamped plastic. I think my SRT has much nicer materials.
Service is boarder line criminal. Luckily I’ve never taken any of my SRT’s (the Jeep is my 5th) in for a lot of work.
Disagree (outside of Lexus). Nobody cross shops a Lincoln with a BMW or Mercedes. The Navigator is a 10 year old F250 with leather seats. The only Cadilacs that sell for MSRP are V cars.
The dealer service model is the one missing piece. I agree 100%.
I’ve got a 14 Jeep SRT. I get compliments on the interior/exterior ALL the time.
NUH UH! A BUNCH OF COMMENTERS IN HERE ARE INTERIOR EXPERTS AND ARE SAYING FCA INTERIOR ARE CRAP (with only personal experience being a rental dart)!
Go ride in an SRT Jeep. Leather wrapped dash, carbon fiber, heated/cooled leather/alcantara seats. I think in 16 they added alcantara headliner (I’ve got a 14, wasn’t an option). Their interiors are great.
Agreed 100%. The dealership service department is the BIG elephant in the room.
In for people complaining about the price, not realizing how much new cars cost.
STOP MAKING SENSE! IT HAS NO PLACE IN THIS COMMENT SECTION!!
Andrew. Please set up an offroad drag race between the new Raptor and SRT Jeep (on a trail similar to the ones you took the miata on, obviously the Jeep isn’t doing dunes or shit like that).
This is actually extremely brilliant.
