There are more ruined non-performance versions on the road. The *why* doesn’t matter. That’s not what I’m commenting on.

99% of people on earth have no idea the SE-R existed. Guys who modded their sentra modded them to match their friends riced out civics.

If I look hard enough, I’ll see 5 90's Civics with fart cans and spray painted hub caps on the way home today. None Si’s.

Except none of those cars are as known as the Civic Si’s. Nobody modded Sentras because the SE-R existed. They mod their Sentras because their buddies with Civics have fart cans.

BRUH. A Civic DX isn’t performance oriented., yet 1000% of them had fart cans and colored radiator hoses under the hood. Which spread to every other Civic competitor (Sentras, Corollas), none of which had performance oriented versions.

Why limit it to Performance oriented? Have you seen 90's Honda Civics?
